Would love a classics Casey, but really I want them all so I'm eagerly anticipating the announcement next month. Seriously need a Krang BAF too. Or a deluxe boxed figure, similar to what we got years ago but with increased articulation. I'd buy two. :)
As already mentioned, the joints do seem to be pretty sturdy, but these figures are extremely difficult to get to stand on their own. They even have a disclaimer on the back of the packaging stating that the figure cannot stand on its own. I've gotten them to do it, but keep that in mind before...

E.T. needs Donatello's Speak N Spell to phone home, but Donatello is kind of fond of his Speak N Spell. Poor photo quality, but I just shot this and did a quick edit to add text.

The classics just do not stay in stock whenever TRU gets them, and even the higher prices at the comic stores around here don't seem to scare off too many people. If they continue to produce highly articulated figures with the same quality level as the first 4 turtles (wonky eyes aside) then...
The pizza playsets and the new villains look cool. Hopefully they retain most of the detailing shown in the prototypes. I don't care for the 4 turtles, but I do like their more toon accurate heads.
Really intrigued with what may be in store for the next series of classics. Bummed we have to...
Repainted an extra Metalhead to sell on ebay. Couldn't get any bids at $20 (LOL) so I figured I'd make myself a corroded Metalhead. A damp sewer may be a nice habitat for a turtle or a rat, but it's not the best environment for a robot. ;)

Thanks! Wash the figures with soap and water first or you'll risk your paint not holding. Then take some black acrylic paint (I got mine at Michaels) and a touch of water and paint over the knee and elbow pads and the bandannas. I tend to paint both knees and both elbows, then wipe it off with...
Found this defective Raph at a store tonight. If the paint wasn't messed up I'd probably have bought him. The messed up head looks kind of like the comic version of the Turtles.

Lots of people have painted their Metalheads. I posted pics of mine a few pages back, or you can click my sig pic to view my Flickr account. Metalhead is pretty easy to paint and he looks great with just a bit of work.

And to confirm the other reports, I just bought a few figures from my Walmart store and, though the shelf was marked $7.77 they rang up for $8.88. The store did adjust the price for me, but I expect that to be the standard before long. Still, for around $9 each, these are among the...
