Yes, our braces are more BROWN than green

If you do make a slim down the road any chance for either his first bow and quiver or his Helms Deep armor and sword?

But that would be against the principle of "Slim", right?
We want to keep slim as an idea that is "less, cheap", basically like what the character equip at his/her least possible gear.
It is an idea to attempt more collectors to jump in the franchise, especially someone who doesn't know us well, or not at all.

However, there is always chance for a second version.

True. Well I have the deluxe in order and I am pretty sure I will also order any future versions down the road slim or alternate versions. As long as you all keep up the good work I am hooked.

im referring to the possibility haired legolas. expansion set (that the name for just the head) i guess not so much a slim set.. some love the head as sculpted, others wanted it haired. im curious to see him rooted by his buds.

It would be cool if they could have offered the original bow as a pre-order bonus, but that ship already sailed.

Excuse my ignorance (new to 1/6) but what exactly is a 'slim' version? I'm guessing it means something other than an actual slimmer bodied figure lol.

It means the figure is re released with less accessories.

I always thought "slim" was a strange choice of words. When they first used that on Saruman, I thought they actually did go with a slimmer body the second time. He was pretty thin. They should have probably used "economy" version.

Yeah, I had a similar thought when I first saw "slim"; but it made sense once I read the description.

Just on the record,
there will be NO slim version for Legolas,
You cannot go any "silmer" than our regular version now.

Unless we want him battle without his bow and daggers.

Any chance of a rooted or mixed-media hair head sculpt being offered separately?

I went ahead an pre-ordered the normal one even though I am not happy with the sculpted hair. I am hoping for an upgrade head in the near future and hoping not have to buy a spare head parted out to carve the hair off and try to re-hair myself.

I would suggest don't try,
like we previously discussed on the thread, the braids are the problem. I can assure you there is no factory skill at moment to tie a real hair by hand that will be 1/6 scale accurate. Not for leggy's at least.

But trust me, like it happened in the last 10~20 years, one day this will be overcome, and when it does, we will be onto it.

Well, this is an interesting development. I too was hoping for a haired version of Legolas... and passed on purchase of the Deluxe Legolas because I believed a 'Slim' with real hair would find its way here.

To note, since braids are impossible, then I assume this argument also applies to Gimli... in which case, real hair beard with plastic braids would not be the ideal choice. I would have to say sculpted then.

I am still going to try... I just need a separate head because I am not going to attempt it with the only one I got. I will have to find one parted out or if you have any spares laying around I will buy one from you guys.

Just wondering why Legolas doesn't appear to be on the Asmus shop site at the moment but he's still featured on their regular website. Can anyone shed any light? Cheers!
