Just viewed again and I am bumping up RO to 8/10....

It's a STAR WARS movie that actually has some star wars going on. That should merit the extra point right there.

I liked the Vader scene but I really liked the overall movie. K2SO was my favorite character and I liked the end battle with the rebel fleet. Very cool

So how many here would still be raving about RO without the Vader finale? Did studio interference actually save the film...?

Oh, I think it was a good move.

It was VERY interesting and disconcerting watching ANH right after RO and realizing they events in RO had just finished happening...really makes ANH feel right in place.....which is something I never thought I would say about this film when it was first announced.

As a side note, I finally realized what bothers me about CGI Leia. Its her overall face shape. Her face is WAY to long compared with Fishers round face. Her chin is totally wrong also ...way too long. The jawline is wrong...the cheeks are too long also. It's weird because the digitally painted her face on another actor.....why not find someone with the same general face shape?

The picture you posted of Leia from Rogue One looks horizontally squeezed. The actual screenshot looks much more accurate to Carrie's rounder face, IMO.

Yep, the actual on screen footage of Leia looks much better than the majority of images people keep passing around the internet.

My emotions are running so high by that dynamic moment I don't notice or care about the only 85% accurate resemblance, it's Leia servicing the story plain and simple.

Posting a static photo cold like that with zero emotional story attachment of course we will then notice the shape of her head lol.

The stand in for Leia actually does have a very round face as well (which xipotec's post ironically proves.) She just has a higher forehead which was covered on set with a wig.

In other news I popped the disc in at 12:30 am last night thinking I'd catch a few minutes of the movie before bed since it's been a week or so since my last viewing. At 2:30 I was lighting a cigarette. When will this movie stop being awesome?

I like how they show the Vader scene right after the downer of Jyn and Cassian. PERFECT!
