It was what, $475 + about $30-40 shipped originally?.. so you'd be paying an extra $120 for it. Somewhat reasonable I suppose.. I'd try to knock it down to $575+600 shipped if you could.

Yea I just don't want to regret not getting it, did that with the comiquette originally passed at chance of one at $500 then out of nowhere they jumped to 700-800 cheapest, and this ones ex is Preety awesome! Lol I had to have him
Doesn't seem like an absolutely terrible price. The EBay prices have gotten fairly out of control and have been much higher than that.
I could see this one rising further in cost on the aftermarket once some of the companion pieces are released and more PFs from the Spidey universe are announced/revealed.
This is definitely not one to miss if you're a fan.

I can imagine your anxiety. Waiting is one thing but seeing all of these QC paint problems popping up as well....that'd drive me nutz while waiting. Hopefully your piece arrives without any issues. I remember sweating out the arrival of my EX Apoc PF while all kinds of QC issues swirled around here. I got lucky and received a good one.

Yeah, anxiety is the right word for sure filip. I decided to not pay it off early months ago when it seemed like a good amount of pieces were having issues..we'll see, before it ships I'm going to ask SS to inspect beforehand, and if theres still any material paint issues (or breakages god forbid) I'll opt for full reimbursement and plow it in something else instead. I have Symbiote coming as well.

That sounds like a plan. There'll be plenty of Spidey statues released in the future. XM is doing a Spidey statue as we speak, IS just released one, and we have yet to see what Prime 1 has in store for Spidey. Not to mention, I doubt this is the last classic Spidey PF we'll be seeing from SSC. You definitely will have plenty of options available to you. That said, hopefully your PF turns out looking good.

Those should work. I don't know if they match the pads on the statue 100% so I would prepare to replace them all once you get they new set.

I would have SS send you new ones, Im sure they have a ton laying around. Send them pics of the mismatched pads, even if they dont have replacements Im sure they would give you a slight discount to pay for new ones.

Count me in as another who seemed to have got a mint EX version of this. Brilliant statue. There is a bit of what seemed to be paint on the wrapping paper, but I couldn't tell where any paint rubs (if any) were on my statue after my inspection. I don't feel like getting my magnifying glass out to search for flaws, if there are any, it might be better to stay in ignorant bliss, & enjoy my statue Nice one Sideshow.

My Ex was mint as well.. except for some blue rubbing on the packaging paper it was wrapped in.. I received mine a while back but just mentioning the blue rubbing because I noticed they are shipping the Symbiote PF in silk wrapping.

What do you think my chances are that a wait list converts for an ex? I had to cancel my pre order due to money issues but, now I have some extra cash and would love to get this. I put in for the wait list on the ex and the reg. Hoping the ex converts but will settle for the reg at this point.
