So it wasn't flawless... Or it was when the replaced a part?
I guess it would of characterized as a flawed head that was replaced. As far as the legs and the body the paint apps were great.

Wow even with the paint issues, this Spidey is in high demand cause reg version has been waitlisted since when? I guess until they make another batch.
I'm curious if it's a real waitlist or, like with Superman, they're just waiting for another batch to come in, as you put it.
I could be wrong, but I have a hard time believing that they sold through all 7,500 statues already.

I agree, Spider-Man is popular but not THAT popular (especially this early on in the process).

That's a tactic that they use to create panic among collectors so they can go ahead and put in their order. It works cause I was on that Comic Supes PF waitlist cause I thought I might have lost my chance to get it. The Spidey like the Supes has a high ES so highly unlikely it's sold out. It's just waiting for another batch to be made.

I finally got a chance to open mine up and did a quick inspection. I'm happy to report that it is AH-MAZING!! Pictures do not do this piece justice. Looking forward to setting him up on for display once I find room. Absolutely ecstatic and over the moon with how this came out. Thank you SIDESHOW!!

Got a full refund, had to return it because the heads did sit on the body correctly and they didn't have a suitable replacement. I will see if later down the road I could get it when later batches ship. Great statue but SS gonna SS I guess

SS should have told you to go all Thor on it. No need for a faulty statue to be circulated back out. Wouldn't it cost more to have it returned to them a second time cause collectors are gonna have the same complaints about it.

I just received (from Popcultcha Australia) and unboxed my standard statue, and I must say it is quite impressive. The pose is everything.
I slowly inspected the statue, looking for any blue scuffs or blue transfers on the wrapping paper. I only found one occurance that appeared to have transferred from the lower back of the statue, but under my house lighting it looks just fine. (I'll have to recheck under natural lighting in the morning).
I must say I was holding my breath during the entire process and am happy to say that the legs on mine appear perfect.
That's not to say there aren't any paint imperfections. A dot of paint here, a dot of paint there; and the lines are ok, but far from perfect.
The resting hand could be a little bit more flush with the base, but all in all this is a great statue which will get centre billing in the comic section of my collection.

Lines are going to be insane...
My 2nd statue is sitting at home waiting for me. Won't be back from a work trip until Wednesday. Not excited that I get to nervously open the statue a second time. If this one has issues I'm not sure what I'll do.
Have it repainted to a negative zone suit!
