Yeah... My Batmobile doesn't have those marks. I'd send it back ASAP.

Here's my setup so far. I love the stands Sentry83 made for me. I need to get some animated backgrounds now as you guys really make your displays pop with them.

Also need to find some room and add in Tnba Robin, Roxy and Batgirl along with Harley.

How I'm gonna include the Batmobile is beyond me[emoji15]

Came like that straight from BBTS

Fortunately that's an easy fix. just get a very thin brush and some matte black acrylic paint to touch it up. I did that to mine.

Thought that was odd. Too bad I think you should've waited for the reissue, especially if you got a paint QC dud

I'm not really good with paint brushes or else I wouldn't mind

Looking good! I like whatever those pillars are in the back, makes it look kind of like a rooftop

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

Today was a good day. Picked up Penguin, Roxy, Batgirl, Robin (Tim), and Ivy for 50% off at my LCS.:rock

Tis the season right and the desperation that stores need to make sales :lecture

I'm not complaining.:lol I love this series, but I don't think I could keep up at full price, with the current output(to be fair, though, it's a pretty insane output, since all of this stuff was intended to be spread throughout the year and it's just now dropping all at once). I'll probably wait and see if he does another sale before Christmas before picking up the new figures.

Yeah, I took those pillars off of the build-a-hall of justice that came with the young justice figures a few years back. They're art deco enough to fit with the animated aesthetic. Now I need to print out some backgrounds.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

So, I painted Harley's eyelids white and it looked surprisingly weird.

I must admit I was shocked... It looked totally weird, as if they indeed shouldn't be white.

Oh, well... I then removed the paint and now she's back to original form.

I'm by no means complaining. I do love her the way she is.

Re: DC Collectibles doing Batman The Animated Series figures!!!!!

OK...

Two days ago, I woke up in the middle of the night for a glass of water. It was seriously around 3AM.
As I return to my room, I went to stare at my BTAS collection just to enjoy the view. But, out of the sudden - I don't know what happened -, I decided I no longer liked my TAS Batman's head. Something "possessed" me and kept saying in my mind "this thing is wrong".
So I got my old kenner Combat Belt Bats, the original Batman model sheet, DCC's Batman and went to compare the heads.
I then realized that the only thing wrong with DCC's Batman's head was the ears.
For about one hour I "studied" what the hell I could do about it.

I then said "fu** this sh**! I'll sculpt new ears. There's a new Batman coming in January, so whatever happens here, I'll have a backup in two months".
The thing is - I had never, ever, done something like this before. LMAO

So, I completely cut off his ears... And I said "oh, my God! What have I done?!" LMAO
I then got my sculpting clay and started sculpting.
The hours passed, and I had achieved nothing... It was already 9AM and I had nothing but a completely ruined Batman.
I literally sat on the floor wondering "what the ****** have I done?!"
I went to bed to get some sleep... As I woke up again, I knew I had to finish that. So I went sculpting, and sculpting and sculpting...

Two days later and two hands full of bruises, I have what I think is at least a decent Batman. :)

They seem to be a bit uneven and the one looks kinda chunky (nothing that can't be smoothed out with a little more work), but what you have there sure as hell LOOKS like the Batman from the cartoon, while straight out of the package, it definitely did not. I like it. Well done, Son.

Thanks, man!! I do appreciate that.
Yeah, I will smooth out 'em a bit later.
And, yes - it's crazy how much more accurate to the show he looks, with the new ears...

Haha, that's a collector's OCD kicking in right there. Funny story. What you did does look good though.

Thanks!!
Hahaha!! Yeah, my collector's OCD totally kicked out of the sudden. :lol
