Excellent deduction. And yes now that I look at the art again they do look older. I guess it's viable then.

I'd like to see it. An alternate reality thing. I bet they'd still kill Hicks and there sure as hell won't be an HT figure

I give no ****s for Resurrection but Alien 3 I do like.

Still, it'd sure be nice to see Ripley and Hicks together again.

I can tolerate Alien 3... AR is probably the most hated sequel of mine since Highlander 2.

I'd really like to see everything post Aliens rebooted.

I have futile hopes that all of the interest in the Prometheus series will open the way for that.

Edit: Did I just say "Alien 2"? Oh my lord... .

Alien 3 is good. But they still killed Hicks. Burn it with fire and bring on ALIENS 2. I don't care how old they are, I want to see Ripley and Hicks side by side again.

The only thing I like about Alien 3 is the music and the Alien variant (which is my favourite) the rest is an epic fail

Aside from Ripley, I think Hicks was seriously the best character introduced in the series. It was a shame how he was killed off so prematurely. I'd definitely like to see an Aliens 2 as well.

Yeah, Ridley Scott said that he was ditching "Gods and Dragons" from Prometheus 2. No more xenomorphs, I'm guessing?

He mentioned something will be in it that's supposed to be scarier IIRC... which is impossible. I don't know if the Deacon will even be elaborated on considering David and Shaw left LV223.

I guess it's always possible that the Deacon will board their ship, and hang out in the cargo hold... .

There's certainly a lot more to explore in the Alien universe, especially since the Xenos were only one of the creatures that were created by the Jockeys. But, there should be some semblance of the Xenomorphs in Prometheus 2. They're so iconic, it'll make no sense if they're completely ignored for something new.

The Xenos must already exist since the Derelict on LV426 is already there prior to Prometheus and has all the eggs in storage. So I assume what Scott is going to have is some variant of Xenos, but maybe not as similar to the Xeno as the Deacon was.

Weaver is to Aliens as Swarzenegger is to Terminator. Time for a fresh reboot. That said if they can retcon Aliens 3 and 4 out of existence I'd give it a whirl. Some of the concept art looks cool but story would have to be compelling.
