I actually really enjoyed TDKR, probably more than TDK.

This is really cool, posterd to Facebook today, looks like Godzilla is based on the Mondo smoke poster, it's such a cool graphic though, shame they ruined it with a lame fake folds effect on it.

Finally, a high res Facebook post of this shot, never get better quality than this, glad it's when his spines are still fully lit too.

I thought the movie was good and in the old school, classic way of not flooding the screen with the main subject. I guess many here just want to see Godzilla 24/7/365 instead of a movie building peaks and valleys. Everyone one is free to dislike it, but to be bored after an hour, that sounds more ADHD than anything else, but then again, we all have different tastes. I saw it at the movies and bought the Blu-Ray and can't wait to watch it again, this weekend....and I won't be bored.

P.S. What I saw in the trailer, was what I saw in the theater.

Not really, still a but ugly poster, just minus the winkle :lol

Which means youve seen roughly 1 minute of the 8 minutes of Godzilla screen time. Just hang in there for a little longer :lol. Howard the duck shows up at the end...wait

:lol

wocket wacoon too. :lol

I also like this movie but it was nowhere close to what the trailers led us to believe.

IMO, the movie lived up to the trailers. We have all different expectations, but I wasn't disappointed.

I wasn't disappointed with the movie either.

But you felt that the movie delivered on the way Godzilla was portrayed in the trailers as the bringer of death to humanity?

Which retailer is selling the blu ray in the metal case in the US?

I believe the metalpak is with Amazon/BestBuy and Target.

How have you been, long time no read.

I knew that was b.s. before I saw it. I do agree that they toyed with people a bit, but the closer it came to release, the more news came out about Godzilla being a force of nature. I think it was just a marketing angle. I grew up watching Godzilla and I feel that the new movie comes in second place, to the original.

I wonder if I should get the blu ray since Godzilla was featured so little in the film. Not sure I would pay $20 for it :slap
