No guarantee the extra scenes will be a real improvement on the film. Considering how damn good it was, I think I'll actually pick this one up when it is released. Which is a rarity for me. I almost never pay full price for a new Blu Ray, though I actually did it for First Class when it first came out.

Same here, I usually wait a few months and buy it for real cheap off amazon, but I’ve been dying to watch this again.

I'm assuming the extended cut has Rogue?

I'm content to wait for that. I had too many issues with the movie to be hyped about buying it when it first releases, but there were enough things in it to get me to purchase it eventually. And Rogue was one of my favorites from the original films.

Fox has confirmed Extended Cut in 2015.

I really wanted to get it when it came out in October, but I hate having to buy a movie twice! The real question is if the Extended Edition will include the original theatrical cut as well.

Wouldn't the Rogue thing alter the plot a bit? I don't recall all the details, but it seemed they were doing something different with the story when her part was included.

From what I read it would change things with Kitty and Bobby, but ultimately not the story itself.

It was a rescue sequence, correct? If she's not going to be involved with the rest of the story, in terms of helping to get Wolvie back in time, then what was the point of the rescue? I'll be curious to see how it comes together, anyway.

I think they’re breaking her out so she can “steal” Kitty’s powers to keep Wolverine in the past. I think when Wolverine slices Kitty she starts bleeding to death.

So she takes over for Kitty at the end? Interesting. Seems like it would feel strange not to see her hanging around the others in that room though, assuming she was broken out just to be there as a backup for that kind of scenario. But who knows? We haven't seen it yet, so maybe whatever they do will work.

I have a question, and maybe this was answered before.... if X3 didn't happen after this movie.... does this mean we could get another Juggernaut? I didn't think "I'm the juggernaut *****!" was too bad, being Vinnie Jones fan, but I need a proper Juggernaut.

Btw, I just found out that kid with the spikes in X3 was supposed to be Kid Omega....... what the actual ****!!?!

I never knew that, I always thought that was supposed to be Spike, even though he’s not Asian in the comics. Nice find!

It's listed that way on IMDB, and also if you google "kid omega" you get a couple pics of him, plus now that I remember, CBG19 complained about that
