I don't get how this is $150, which in today's prices can be considered reasonable, and the workshop accessory set is $125 :cuckoo:

Isn't the Workshop Accessory pack some sort of toy fair exclusive? i'm sure that is factoring in to the gouging.

In regards to this set, have to say I really like it. Will look very cool on display. Think it'd be a nice accessory to Iron Monger, if one wanted to pretend he won at the end of Iron Man. :D

no it just saw an earlier release at the fairs, its a standard release though

Ah, I see. Yeah, that set is just terrible value as a direct release from HT. Especially stuff like blueprints and magazines... Has a very Barbie-like vibe to it.

This came out great. Ill wait to order. Going to stack up points and try and get the price down to cheap.

Decent price on this if you ask me. If I were a bigger fan of Iron Man I'd consider it but for my collection it seems sort of unnecessary.

I gotta agree. That pricing seems off. Those two items should not be just 20%ish different. Odd choice.

I think this set is great though. For recreating a scene in the movie, or just for looking cool, this scores very high for me.

Since they make the batmobile and tumbler for Batman, I think they should do Starks Malibu house. Lol it's as integral to the movie as the tumbler is in batman. Maybe more so. Plus, it would tie everything together well. Heck, wouldn't even need the whole house. Do the living room area, as one item. Then the basement as another. I'd buy it. Be the best toy playset in years. At least for me. Lol

They could have included the hands at least ****.

I don't think the suit had it's hands on in the movie scene this is pulled from.

Besides, every iron man comes with like ten hands. And mk3,4,5,6,7 all have the same hands pretty much. I don't think the hands are a big deal myself.

Yeah probably not.

It might have been better to join this version with the full armor, and have all the parts removable so you could replicate both looks and include the stand that comes with this

Hmmmm that would have been a good idea.

Up for PO @ $150
