I was asking because i'd like to see it look like it does in the film.

So would all of us mate...maybe brushed metal is something that's difficult to pull off on statues and figures? :dunno What's missing from past paint apps is that hint of a shiny reflection to it without making it totally chrome...

Here's a clear comparison pic of the difference between matte and brushed metal

Hell yeah that would look sweet. I'm interested in buying this one myself.

It would be very cool to have that finish but something tells me we won't get it :(

Even Hot Toys haven't nailed that true brushed aluminium look to their MKII

Now that I'm passing on the XM MKVII, I'll be in for 'em all :lol ;) I'm personally looking forward to adding the MKIII and VII Maquettes to go with their bigger LSF big brothers :rock

Do it Jay :rock remove your MKVI off eBay so you can have them all! Plus you've got the MKI maquette aswell haven't you?

Yea, passing on the XM MKVII mate...I already posted on that thread about how the base and pose options are truly genius but there's something about the actual statue that has me not liking it...I've said from day one that it has that Hot Toys kinda look to it, think it maybe the slightly skinny legs? Not sure...:(

I removed my MK VI a while ago. Don't know what i was thinking even listing it. I have the MK I. So adding the MK II & III will be pretty sweet. I love the base on that XM statue. I wish SSC had thought of that.

For me I, II & III are all you need for a great IM display.

I think any of these bad boys would make an awesome display. To be honest. If I was sideshow, I would have posed these gradually standing up straighter as the mark number got higher. So you could do an "evolution of ironman" display. Haha
