The trailer shown before Cap was pretty good. I will see the film but it's still last on must see Marvel flicks.

Hell yeah it was. I loved seeing the extended action of him using the manhole cover as a weapon. I think whether this movie is a bloated pos or has a perfect story, people are going to leave being impressed by the Spidey action. He just looks too fluid, too cool.... its hard not to get hyped even with some of the weird villains.

I dont care for the goblin look but damn the in the trailer where he is fighting him in the clock tower looks breathtaking. I love it.

I’m considering watching it in 3D if the effects are as good as they were in that trailer.

I hate 3D with a passion, even in the movies that have good 3D effects the 3D itself is just distracting for me, it pulls me out the immersion and I feel dizzy from time to time.

You have to see that trailer in 3D though, it really complimented the look of the film. Anything else I wouldn’t even consider in the 3D.

I love Spider-man, he's my favorite superhero but damn...these trailers are the same over and over and over.

Lots of action, 3D, all this crap thrown at you. Why not slow it down a bit and show some of the character interaction and that drama?

I kind of wish they kept Goblin under wraps too. Would've been a nice surprise and kept a mystery edge to the movie.

Marc Webb has already blown the original movies away in the drama department. Tobey's blubbering was like the *** face people from South Park. I'm not worried about that. The action and all the trailers is Sony over compensating for the haters of the original. I'm sure this movie is going to be good. My concerns are just with some design choices like David Bowie Goblin.

I agree Deckard, I too prefer Garfield over Maguire and have a lot of confidence going in this movie. And you're right, Webb does have the drama down, I would just like to see a little more of it in the trailers. But I suppose they're keeping a lid on it for the flick.

I don't mind David Bowie Goblin. The Goblin is a difficult character to translate effectively on-screen because common comic vision has always been of the Green Goblin visage. So any interpretations like the Power Ranger and New Goblin are going to be difficult for fans to perceive. Honestly, I think for the first "Spider-man", Raimi had built something that he could've capitalized on for a great Goblin look but didn't. Remember how Norman Osborn's home had all those Tribal masks? It would've been awesome if Osborn had just compiled a mix and match of some of those masks into his "Goblin mask" instead of the strange Power Ranger version that popped out of nowhere. He could've had debates with the mask to display his ever growing madness as the mask would've also been a reflection of his "Goblin" personality.

In the sequels, Franco's Harry Osborn could've "held on" to the mask and eventually donned it for "Spider-man 3".
