Some people say that some people are making excuses to not get the figure that they actually wanted. I'd say I think some people tend to utter the cliche "pictures don't do it justice and I loved it when I finally got mine in-hand" as an excuse to justify their purchase.

Eitherway, I'm hoping to be blown away by this when I see it in hand. So I could say pictures don't do it justice :lol

This argument is commonplace. Folks not buying a figure are accused of making up excuses such as soft sculpt, paint apps etc. to hide their real reason for non purchase.....too poor. Implying some financially superiority of those who do purchase. Dumbest damn argument but always makes an appearance in spirited threads.

Any whoo I cannot wait to get this soft sculpted, lazily painted mother freaker in my hands....

Aside from the mustache, the figure is pretty spot on. The bone claws match what's in the movie.

I'm glad they did it that way in the movie and on the figure. I was never a fan of the round bone claws anyway. Did they magically become unrounded when the adamantium was applied? Never made sense that they were round and the metal ones weren't.

Pre-orded this bad boy. I personally really like it, and look forward to keeping my order. Will finally have a wolverine in the collection and didnt have to shell out 300+ bones and a few pints of blood. I may have to hit up ebay for the xmen costume from the crazy snarl faced version hot toys put out. In my humble opinion its the best version yet and actually looks like Hugh, unlike the other versions which don't. I am sure others may prefer the other 2 versions ht put out, but i dont and can't wait for the shipping notice. He is going right next to blade.

And this seems to be what a lot of people want to do with this HT figure:

Just got home from work and saw the notice....WTF...I thought this wasn't due until MAY...

Wasn't expecting this early....having said that, yes! Bring it on...loved the movie, really like this look for him.

As usual, the "spirited" discussion is in full swing in here...my two cents...I remember all of the bad chatter when the early prod pics of Jor-El popped up a few months back and based on those pictures, folks were dissing the shiny, soft-featured sculpt, crying foul and canceling orders. I'll admit....those early shots made me nervous too but I kept the order and....the figure "in hand" looked light years better than the pics...and is one of my favorites now.

Yes...it happens nearly every time. Pics pop up near release time and panic ensues...I've been guilty of it too but....looking at the pics of Wolverine here....I'm keeping this order. One of my favorite "early signs" are the kidadult "unboxing" videos. Straight from the box reveals, no frills, regular "room" lighting. Always shows us exactly what we're getting.

And what I see here is something good....can't wait to add Jackman's Wolverine to the collection....
Nicely said. :clap I do fault for going a bit overboard earlier but as you stated we all do get scared were going to receive a bad product. I definitely was. I think in hands this will look much better now as I thought about it all day. Crossing my fingers!

I have no regrets in pre-ordering two of these. At least one of my three Punishers will have a friend in Logan. (Though I won't be giving Frank the keys to the Lego Joker Steamroller just in case!)

I am regretting pre-ordering The Crow, however.

I just contacted SS and had them switch me over from Flex to full payment!

Looking forward to getting this guy!

I need to do the same thing. I don't want to wait forever for my flex payments.

Here are the other blogger pictures to get a different look at the figure compared to OMG's style. Might help sway members on making a decision.

BEST photos yet! And I too, think this is the best of the 3 Wolvies. Soooo looking forward to it! :yess:

got mine just now, my first impression is the "mustache" isn't as bad as everyone says, it's a bit dark but acceptable for me.

#2 the legs, they are incredibly wobbly, it seems they've modded the butt and thigh area for added articulation but it seems quite unstable, and may fall while posing *BEWARE!!!

#3 it's 2014 and hot toys still give us only 1 pair of spare hand pegs... WTF, there are 5 pairs of hands but 2 sets of pegs?! that really doesn't make sense, even though the hand plastic seems to be softer recently, having to take out peg every time you're changing the hands is a *****! (considering there's a chance of breaking)

#4 the chinese characters on the sword may not be centered(i'll have to get mine replaced)

#5 the shirt, the neck button is sew shut, you have to take the head and hands off before changing clothes (don't really know why the stupid design)

Makes the neck tie look better. One of the more challenging futzes is getting the collar closed and working well with the tie. More difficult to switch but better for display.

Just my opinion.

Figure looks okay, suit is well made. Wasn't planning on getting him though since the preview pics were revealed. Sculpt is ok but I don't Jackman in it.For the sculpt and accessories I think this figure should be well under $200. But then again it's the Wolverine. I am still looking for the one Wolverine figure to get. Hopefully the Days of Future Past sculpt is better and he has some kind of battle suit. I wish they would give him like a two tone/ black and gold type.

It's funny how people see things differently. I've been waiting on a Wolverine figure forever, since I started collecting HT just after the Origins figure came out. I was so disappointed in the X3 Wolverine sculpt, and thought it only looked vaguely like Jackman. But I feel like the new sculpt is absolutely dead on.

Then again I think the IM Mark VII Tony head sculpt is completely off, but a lot of people like it so...

The Crow figure I wanted really bad but once I saw the in hand pics it just wasn't what I expected it to be. Hot Toys did a rush job on it. If they took there time it would of came out even better. For the price your paying it aint worth it. Will eventually pick him up down the road for a good price.
