I'm just starting to try and paint humans, so i'm no expert, but his eyes look a little too wide open. I think it throws the likeness off a bit. Otherwise, nice job.

Sorry for the lack of updates! Boomer, Smiling 70's hair Starbuck, and Apollo V.2 will be soon! We have been busy behind the scenes streamlining how we are going to offer new heads in the future for all of our ranges and will be updating threads when he have something specific to show. The biggest over-all change will not be keeping heads in catalog after we offer them but only making them available for a limited run, once.

Look for more details on Galactica within a month.

Nice paintup JM326. I do think the 2nd pic emphasizes the giraffe neck though. I'm still working on getting them fixed without ruining them so I can display mine.

A onetime, limited run? Sounds shortsighted and like an invitation for recasters to fill the void. Just my opinion.

Hells yes! I actually have someone who can make very nice, detailed costumes now with metal buckles, but it might be pricey. I will put out feelers for that once the 2013 V.2 heads are released, probably around Christmas or before.

No,those are just teasers to show there ARE things moving along behind the scenes. More than we've talked about on here, but we won't make any announcements till we are ready. It will be a few months at least yet. Maybe early 2014. When we do it will be noisy and we won't be shy.

I would definately be interested in ANY produced though Lucifer, Baltar and Athena would be top of the list. I personally wasnt crazy about the Cain & Lucifer likenesses on the original prototypes. Nice to see there's interest in remaking them.

Thanks for commenting and the input! WGP's first three classic Galactica characters will be Apollo, Serious Starbuck, and Boomer, but those three characters you mentioned are high on who we would like to make next, afterwards (ideally Athena next) if the line takes off and the support is there so we can continue.

While we are not ready to reveal anything about the three we are doing first just yet, I can say a lot is happening behind the scenes right now with modelers (which we aren't) having contacted us offering their skills to help us not only make electronic features (lights and voice chips) for potential Cylons and Lucifer, but they are also talking helping us make light-up guns for the heroes and villains as well.

Making 1:6 Cylons seemed a pretty far-fetched dream for us initially at a custom level, but those incentives have us considering it now, so we are thinking, would we just make replacement Cylon upgrades to the old Majestic/ Amok Time Cylons- new heads and more accurate chest armor with electronics- or would we want do the whole thing new from scratch if we did it? A lot of that hinges on if we could match the chrome to the original figures, or course. That might make the decision for us were we to do it.

I have the Majestic Amok Time cylons, they are not bad at all but if they can be upgraded, that would be very nice. Having said this, I would love to have Athena, Baltar and Lucifer as well, and any other Galactica character, really looking forward to their release!

Thanks! We really appreciate and keep track of feedback opinions because our Classic Galactica line is really a very small thing so your votes and interest on what you want what really determines what gets made, because we really those 16 people interested (min) per character to get them made.

Once things are released and you guys show your figures off, that will hopefully grow our Galactica interest even larger to really help expand the line!

The face is equal in scale with the Majestic/Amok Time heads, though the hair is more accurate 70's and much larger.




The master with other heads for sizing. The head here is not as low as it was finally made, as shown above.
