Its probably just lighting, warmer or cooler lights are going to react differently with a color thats beige or grey in nature. So depending on how you want to light him you can probably pull off a bunch of different effects.

Never said other's opinions didn't matter. What I do notice is all the queens crying foul play like Sideshow mailed them a turd inside a shipping box are exaggerating a bit. Don't like it? return it. The flaws too much to handle? return it. Armpits not up to standards after months of waits and delays? Yeah, you guessed it, return it. That's it. Win some and lose some.

Show me a better 1/4 mixed media Batman statue. Hit that google and tell me what you find. No? Nothing? Then this is it. Welcome to the world of collecting.

One pic I saw on SF I think, it looks quite bronze. No matter what color it is, its going to look better then the DC Museum Batman's base. As much as I love that statue, the base was hideous.

Agreed, its one of the reasons I got rid of him. I still wouldn't mind picking up a couple of other dcd pieces to go with my now regrowing Batman collection though, we'll see how the year goes.

I'm happy with what I saw in the video. The armpits didn't look that bad. I'm looking forward to getting it tomarrow. I sure it's going to look more impressive in person.

Got mines today and so pumped to see it. In hand the seams definitely didn't bother men, I felt they had a natural fold to it. Face paint wise he wasn't really too dark and I liked the 5'o clock shadow. The only thing that concerns me is the statue's balance. You're definitely going to need some museum putty to balance out as it's weighted heavily to the left due to the cape's weight throwing the center of gravity off on the statue. I felt they probably could've relieved this by having a more solid base (it's hollow I think). Anyway 9.5/10 for me!

After 2 years waiting, that isn't the statue I have been waiting for! A big disappointment for me What does hell happen to Sideshow's quality control? Look at those horrible photos, the arm looks so wrong because the sleeve does not fit properly on it! It looks so anatomically wrong

And a quick photoshop retouching which should look like exactly...

if mine arrive like this, I have a plan to needle stitch it back to the cape and would be easier if the removable head exposed the top of the cape for tie in. think the trick is to find a thread that match with the color of the uniform fabric.

In regards to this forum... Gray background would be easier on my eyes. The white is too white.

It'd be awesome if we had themes installed that we could choose from. I have them on forums I've built. They please everyone's viewing habits!

they should use pastel red or at least tone it down 2 shades. and put shadow or darker background to bring focus to the posting. overall, still good design.
