dang, and I have been trying to track a GL down. Anyone know how it compares to other 1/4 PF's?

GL is slightly smaller than 1/4 scale. However, the problem is when he's lined up to statues that are slightly larger than 1/4 scale pieces. When I put him next to my BiB Spidey Com or my Joker, Ivy and Deadpool PFs, he looks OK. Those are all 1/4 scale pieces. However, if I line him up next to the original Spidey Com, he is dwarfed by Spidey. And there lies the biggest problem. I think the Bats PF probably falls into that slightly larger than 1/4 scale category. That's where there is a discrepancy. GL doesn't look bad next to most of the 1/4 pieces I have. Only certain ones.

As for the GL PF itself, I think it's a fantastic looking statue. Great paint apps, dynamic pose, and a wonderful sculpt. The EX combined with the light up features really sets the piece apart. I'm very glad I have it. The only way I ever sell it is if I just decide to get the Trinity and call it a day. If I'm looking to round out a JL line up, He's definitely a keeper. That all being said, I won't have him displayed next to Bats.

guess pumping out almost 10000 statues ain't easy

They weren't up for the task

Might want to up the funding of the QC department and save money later from returns.

Don't know how they thought this was acceptable to send out to customers

I'm sure they will take a major hit in complaints/returns and then next year jack the price up even more on future releases to compensate.

How do we know how many peeps will be returning or cancelling their PFs? There really is just a handful of peeps here fussing over arm pits. Even most have them haven't confirmed they are returning their pieces yet, if ever. Also, don't forget the WL which is so long that it is closed on the EX. SSC is going to be just fine. Regardless of how many peeps complain, there will be plenty that keep their Bats PFs and will be happy to have them.

Don't tell me I have unrealistic expectations, I don't appreciate it (especially from the likes of you)

I know what was a realistic hope for this and while still looking good it's no where near as good as it should of been

Besides the armpits everything looks great. Such a pity to mess up such a great sculpt with bad stitching. I still keep hoping when I open my Batman tomarrow he'll have some fine looking seams lines, but it's not looking good.
