For my 10th doctor preorder? yes.

Look for your payment notice from paypal. The order number will be there listed as "invoice ID" followed by a number formatted like this: xxxx-yyyy. The "xxxx" is your order number you need import.

With all due respect - and my record on things like this is shaky! - I can't find a number like this on my Paypal receipt There is an invoice id but it consists of two six digit numbers separated by a letter. Wow, this is getting complicated.

I think on the receipt, you're looking for "invoice ID" at the very bottom.

Thanks guys - I found a 4 digit order number in the paypal entry for the deposit. But when I tried to add this order number to my new account, the email that the website supposedly sent to me to confirm the addition of the old order to my new account has vanished into the ether. Which is weird since I had just received several similar emails from the big chief website.

Yeah, all my e-mails from that process ended up in my spam folder.

So since I've created the new account and imported both my orders for the signature and regular edition figures...What should I expect next?

A lot of waiting? :p

We're all just waiting on payment request emails being sent out and the website payment functionality to be added now, as best as I can tell...

I'm having no luck with this.

My dad didn't keep any record of the transactions, so he doesn't have a copy of either of either of the receipts, or the order numbers.

I've just sent him an email that I hope sorts this out.
I'm hoping he has never realized that your deleted emails are held in the deleted folder, and that he has never emptied it! It's a possibility!

Isn't there a record in your Paypal account?

Oh-My-God this whole process is so ****ing Seventies!!!! Seriously, this is like trying to get a telephone installed in Britain in 1974.

Thing is, my dad did everything from his side.
Being as all these preorders were going out at 2am my time, I didn't want to chance falling asleep or nit waking up or whatever. So all was good. I helped him set up the account, I forwarded him the cash then he did the rest.
I will ask him to contact paypal for an account statement. Hadn't thought if that. Never use it myself.

Never delete receipts before an order is complete. Or even keep it a while afterwards, in case you need a replacement, they might ask for it.

- Log into Paypal, as per normal

- Click the main 'History' navigation link, and wait for the page reload

- Click on the 'Payments sent' link down to the link, this will reload the page with that filter option

- under 'all activity' click the from date by clicking on the calendar box, then use arrows to change month, and when in the month you want, click on the date number in that month, in order to select that date (I suggest 1st January 2013, but any date prior to the 24th or so of January should be fine)

- If you use paypal a lot you might want to click the to date by clicking on that calendar box as well, and selecting a date after the last pre-order, just to narrow the results a bit (I suggest 1st August, 2013 or so)

- Finally click the 'show' button, and you will be presented with a list of payments made via paypal between those dates. Depending on how frequently you use paypal, you may have more than one page in the listed results. Click Next to go to the next page if required.

- On your results page you are looking for transactions from BIG Chief Studios Ltd. When you find a transaction to them right click over the details link and open the page in a new tab to see the details of that transaction.

- For me the Fourth Doctor order was on the 11th of July, 2013. Looking at the payment details of that order you are looking for where it says invoice ID. There you will have a number that looks like the following format: 1234-56. To import that order on the Big Chief site you use the first four numbers only, ignoring the two after the dash (so, in the above example you would use 1234).

- For the Tenth Doctor, the order was on the 24th of January, 2013 for me, but there was no order details attached in my Paypal account. I had to find the email sent and use the order ID from that. It doesn't hurt to check your paypal account while you are there, just in case, but I don't hold out much luck. But it will at least give you a firm date around when you should have received the confirmation email for the order. My email arrived on the 25th January (the day after my order), so go to your email account and check your inbox/delete/spam folders around that date. You are looking for an email from Big Chief Studios titled [Big Chief Studios] Order Received, in that you will find a four digit order number in big bold numbers right near the top, which is what you need for the order import for Ten. Unfortunately if you no longer have the email, I don't think there is much to be done other than contacting Big Chief direct.

Hope that is of some small help...
