I'm quite interested in whose story this movie will center around.

X1 was centered around Rogue
X2 was centered around Wolverine
X3 was centered around Jean
XFC was centered around Magneto.

DOFP is centered around ?

Singer. . . is sleeping with his actors.
Damn.

Don't pull a Bryan Singer on me bro.
LOL

If you compare the screen time of Wolvie vs. Rogue in X1, I suspect you're gonna see Wolvie taking up more time. I would say those two were the primary focuses. Magneto's plan hinged on her, but that doesn't mean the movie was centered around her. Like in X2, Brian Cox's plan hinged on Prof. X being captured and used, but you don't say the movie centered around him. First Class was more about the relationship between Charles/Mags and how it went sour IMO.

Well the way i see it. Each movie had it's own story but the second to that was the focus of one mutants progression.

X1 was about Mutants place in the world and then secondly Rogue adapting to being a Mutant. Logan probably had more screentime as he's the most famous Mutant.

X2 was about choice: Logan choosing to stay as an X-Man over a loner (staying with Artie and the team insead of finding out all the answers by going with Stryker), Jean sacrificing herself for her friends. bobby choosing his genetic family over his biological family, Storm choosing Faith, Stryker choosing to view Mutants as a plague than as people.

Wolverine as his relationship to Stryker and Weapon X was the individual .

X3 was about the Governement trying to supress mutantkind then second was Jeans ressurection and her corrupting powers.

XFC was about Mutantkind emerging for the first time for the government.

Second was Magneto's vengeance again Shaw for the Murder of his mother as evidenced in the Nazi huntings and attempts and execution of Shaw

As of now DOFP is about preventing a horrible dystopian future. So i wonder who the individual Mutant focus will be.

That's how i see them atleast :wink1:

Days of Future Past Director said:
"It's not just another X-Men film; it's not just about the combined cast as there will be certain technologies and other stuff that we haven't seen before in the X-Men films.

"There are also issues of time and we're messing about with that. I think we've got it figured out. I pitched it to James Cameron when I was in New Zealand last year and he said 'Yes, that makes sense.'"

"We wanted an opportunity to bring some of the favourite older and younger characters together. We also wanted to play with the notion of different times and stuff like the way that time affects destinies. It enables the film to not just be a sequel to First Class or X-Men 3 but to actually be its own thing."

Wonder how the XCU will pan out after this movie.

Perhaps they'll do a rebooted timeline carrying on from the XFC timeline and introduce the classic characters when they're younger and first meet and use this movie as a way of blanking the slate clean for those characters.

I'm pretty sure you can say every X-film, and really 99.9% of all movies ever made, are about choice. Magneto chooses to rebel against humans, Wolverine chooses to join the X-Men, Tony Stark chooses to be a hero, Gizmo chooses to fight the evil Gremlins, etc.
