Cause its not really a planet. Its the Maginto Sphere. Its dressed inside with vegetation and earth for sustenance kind of like the halos where. Thats why its hollow. there is no core of molten lava and ****.
Ok cool - thanks for that. I am way to **** retentive for my own good....Never having played a Halo MP game before, I have nothing to draw from, but my understanding is Halo 4 MP is modeled heavily on COD. That said, I am enjoying it - I am not that good but I dig 8 v 8
Going slow with the campaign, but think its as good as any in the series - I've played Missions 1 and 2 on Legendary - think I hate that mode! LOL too hard

Ok, the lack of dedicated servers is seriously killing my fun in MP, and due to one specific reason: every match, there is at least 2 or 3 host migration type moments where the game pauses and takes forever to restart. One game pulled this **** 6 times before I quit myself....how the hell does 343 and MS not have dedicated servers for Halo?
No dedicated servers = not taking their game seriously, IMO

On a side note, just re-picked up Halo 2 off Ebay - got a perfect copy. still runs even with the current firmware update on Live - yay. Gonna get Reach - never played that one, and kinda back into Halo suddenly. Anniversary really did it for me - made me miss the original. Halo 3 campaign was pretty fun

I just picked up this Friday night. Really enjoying it so far, not sure what level I'm up to though.
Is anyone using the Skulls at all during the game. I haven't really modified any settings yet, just playing the game through to see what it's all about.
Loving all the new Promethean weapons though - but I hate those flying things that shield the Promethean's

Pepole are trying to cheat with lag switching, modded controllers etc.
MS does need to step up with dedicated servers if they want the new era of Halo to be viable and taken seriously.
Yeah dedicated servers very much needed. I finally got into a dozen games last night with minimal amts of 'please wait while we redirect the host' kinda screen, so that was cool
I very much dig all the Promethean weapons as well - some are a lot more damaging than the covenant ones...Anyone hear of Mythic difficulty: its when you have legendary selected, as well as ALL skulls chosen; only for the uber crazy

Congrats; legendary is hard - gonna wait to do that co-op
Question: is there a way to do a matchmaking for a co-op campaign? seems like your only option is to invite a friend?

My wife really ticked me off today! She allowed my 9 year old son play multi-player under my GT this morning who doesn't have a clue about the styles changes and since his tag is expired. And of course, he did aweful. I do take pride in my k/d and I'm struggling enough adjusting from Reach to H4 already! Some minus 50 kills later, I woke up to learn of this. 
I asked her why she didn't have him sign in as her guest and she said he told her that it couldn't be done in H4 anymore! BS! We just played with several guests tags the other day.
She doesn't allow anyone to use her tag for the same reasons and has since apologized. She knows I'm still ticked about the situation too. Mutual respect for my GT is all I ask! I just wish there was some form of password security in order to access the account on XBL prior to signing in.

Beat the game today, yet I was not given credit for Mission 7, which is weird since I played it - must have skipped part of it somehow - game was a tad short, campaign wise, but I know the Spartan Ops thing took some time up making them
Update - just replayed first part of mission 7 again, and just got the unlocks - weird glitch. Overall, very good game - I'd go so far as to say that was my fav Halo Campaign in the Halo1-4 games I've played; gonna take a crack at Halo: Reach next or Halo 2 again

Finished the game this morning. Really love this campaign and the storyline. Looking forward with them continuing the story in games 5 and 6.
