Well...about 3 hours into the campaign right now and honestly other than the amazing introduction opening scene and the whole first level...this game is pure ****e. I think Call of Duty is much better than this boring bland junk.
Graphics are decent...but the story is extremely boring and not to mention that in most places it is best to just run past all the enemies to the next check point.
I could go on and on but let's just say that after Halo 2, the rest was and is garbage.
Well...at least I have Assassin's Creed III to look forward to which I will definately be picking up very soon.

Halo 4 seems to be a game that an 8 year old would love but not an adult.

i'm loving the campaign. It feels fresh for Halo. New enemies, new weapons, new vehicles.

The covenant are back too and more menacing than before. The weapons were revised to sound and feel better. The graphics are a big jump forward for the series. We have yet another killer soundtrack.

I always loved Halo for it's great AI, huge landscapes and epic fights. You actually have to use your noggin for some fights and it's great to use some tricks like the Plasma Pistol charged + Magnum pistol to the head on elites.

The future of Halo is in good hands with 343.

Eh, I don't know. The CoD 4-3 (you know what I mean) campaign was pretty amazing. 3 had problems, but the scope was immense.

Who can forget the sniping mission in Chernobyl, where stealth was everything? What about the final chase and battle with Shepherd? The massacre in the airport? Or the final level of MW3?

Say what you will about the multiplayer, but the single player stuff was incredible.

I haven't played 4, but I can see it pissing me off like no other if 343 goes crazy with the continuity.


But like I said, I don't know. I had to defend the COD campaigns a bit here. They may not be different, but they're fun, and have moments that rival the biggest blockbuster films. Very fun game series. Couldn't care less about the MP.

I dislike COD games for its attack of the clones gameplay and the way they always seem to want to finish levels with hundreds of bad guys chasing you whilst you try and get to a helicopter/truck/goat to get away. On the easier difficulties its not a problem but on the tougher ones I end up enraged and with broken controllers -I'm supposed to run right, that's what the objective is its what the NPCs are screaming at me so I'm running but every time you get ****ing shredded by baddies WTF! Something that was supposed to be exciting is instead enraging and it becomes luck of the draw instead of skill. The Cortana level in Halo 3 had passages like that too where to actually try and fight your way thru is pointless and I just try and blitz it and keep blitzing until eventually I get thru.

Yeah I dunno if they have changed it up in COD now but I hated how it was like an arcade game where it won't let you advance until you've killed a certain amount of baddies who keep spawning on a cycle

Totally. I haven't played the MP in a year. I played MW3 for 2 days, and said yeah, i'm good. It's just not fun.

Call of Duty ( at least the last few of them) I thought were pretty aweful as well...I did enjoy Call of Duty 2 and Modern Warfare 2, decent but far from superb...I was just meant that as bad as Call of Duty has gotten I still enjoyed them better than Halo 4.

If I insulted anyone well what can I say...get a life this is an opinion of one person not everyone will feel the same as others. Would everyone prefer me to lie? I respect honesty and that is how I try to keep it.

I am sick and tired of generic boring games period. Halo 4 is just that...generic, simple story, basic run and shoot 'em game. To me a game with a decent story is important.

People in cod are stupid mindless children. My team beat another team on cod and they got so pissed and threatened us. Not to mention crap story and camping. It's the twilight of gaming.
