Fili still looks pretty Dwarvish while Kili looks more like a Hobbit. :lol

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

Where do those guys go to get their hair done? Weta Supercuts?

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

You were questioning whether or not they are full-blood dwarves because they have less prosthetics.

I'm guessing they're just younger, or the more...handsome dwarves. :lol

Don't dwarves live for roughly 250 years? I think I read that somewhere.

I actually wasn't questioning that at all. Those were two completely unrelated questions. I was just wondering why for some they chose to do no prosthetics at all and others they did. It seems like if you don't have to do it for some why do any need it? Their looks are different enough that it seems unnecessary. The other question I was just looking for context from the books I may be missing since I haven't read them in years.

In the end neither matter, just an observation and some curiosity.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

They made Fili, and particularly Kili, have less hair, or beard, for the ladies. Also because they're the youngest dwarves.
But yeah, you have to have some hotness to pull in people who only watch films for it, or something to convince your girlfriend to go see the movie with you :lol

And nothing wrong with that. That's why Avengers has Black Widow. :lol

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

There's suppose to come out on the 1st. I don't care for Bilbo at all. Too cartoony. The 6" Gandalf is really good though. Wish I knew if they were making all the drawfs in 6".

That's correct the first. Bilbo looks fine to me. I think the plans are to do all of them in 6".

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

I have about 75 of the LOTR 6 inch toys. There all loose and have been collecting dust in my basement for years. Think they are worth anything?

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

Probably not worth a lot to be honest. Most action figures aren't anymore.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

yeah. :(

You want to buy them Josh? :lol

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

They're up for Pre-order. Shouldn't be out in stores yet that or the stores have broken street date.

It looked like someone just put out one case. They are scaled the same as SW figures...look pretty decent. They had Bilbo, Thorin Oakenshield, Legolas and some Goblin guy...no Gandalf.
