Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

Remember the crabbing "the purists" were doing on the character designs? :lol

There are still some very upset people over a lot of things with the hobbit. Hell, there are people still upset over things with lotr. :lol

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

Orcrist looks so badass. What's up with the Calvin Klein model dwarf?:lol Guess they had to throw something in for the ladies.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

I wonder why they decided to leave some of the guys with almost no face prosthetics to look more human and others to look very dwarf-like.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

Basically it was all done to make each one as unique looking as possible.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

Surely not every feature of your face has to be enlarged for you to be a dwarf.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

Unless I missed it, I don't believe anyone said they did.
You were questioning whether or not they are full-blood dwarves because they have less prosthetics.

I'm guessing they're just younger, or the more...handsome dwarves. :lol

Don't dwarves live for roughly 250 years? I think I read that somewhere.

Re: The Official "The Hobbit" movie thread

Yeah, they're younger and supposed to be the ones that play to the ladies. Their looks are probably near the bottom of how I'd rank them.
