He'll cost out to what Fury did I think. So roughly $170 at non-SS retailers.

He won't cost more than Fury. We might hope for slightly less since the clothes should be cheaper to make. A lot depends on the accessories. My bet is $169.

Really can't think of many accessories other then the guns and cards. Ear piece for sure. Sun glasses. Cell phone? Really would help this figure sell if it was in the $150 range. Going to be a tough sell if it is higher.

At least there seems to be a pause from the crying.

The most boring, generic character ever done by Hot Toys, whose only noteworthy feature is some infantile weapon that looks like Rob Liefeld designed it.

If you're just thinking about a character from a design perspective, then sure. But the character in the movie was actually very important and had a lot of personality. (He was also in four movies.) I know HT usually only gives us the star, and the Son of Coul was not the star, but it's not a bad thing to see them actually populate a license. If the sales are good maybe they'll consider doing it for other movies?

I see your Prometheus picture. I would personally LOVE it if this went well and HT gave us a full Prometheus cast!

I don't get the posts saying 'boring/plain' figure, really? That's the character, should he come with a super hero uniform or something to make him more exciting?

He won't be priced any cheaper due to the simple nature of his design either, I'd say Fury price.

For me, Coulson is my top figure from this movie. Love the Coulson. Cant get enough of the Coulson. I am blown away that he is actually being made. One reason I was so excited for the MIB figures was so i could get a suit to make him. Actually debated on contacting Kato to see if he would make me a black version of the Draper suit.

I love that they included the Captain America trading cards. I also see they're included his ID badge and a SHIELD dossier. Add in a pistol, shades, cellphone/earpiece and sell him for $165!

Have not seen Item 47 yet of course, but there is a strong possibility that I WOULD pick up that figure if it were released. Just because I can kind of identify with someone breaking bad like that.

With that said, everyone Criiiiiiii-iiiii-IIIII----ing, over yooouuuuu I mean sobbing over the X-Men can just get over it. HT makes a LOT of figures I am not interested in, and I'm not wailing about it, I just wait until they release something else that pertains to me, and consider it $$$$$ saved for the next thing I can't live without.

He was in Iron Man, he was in Thor, he was in Avengers. That's quite a bit!

Consider that this means he appeared in 3 successful HT movie lines, and then interacted with Cap in Avengers in a meaningful way. He was no extra. I could see people who just buy Iron Man grabbing him, people who just buy Thor buying him, and then the Avengers fans. He'll do well.

Sorry to disappoint. darkseed, spindrift and plasmid... have been the go to members for seeing pretty much every recent Hot Toys release trashed.

I am simply floored that some of you love this character. Honestly the only reason I even know his name is your constant mention of him.
