Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

As much as I love they are going with those, I have to admit making them organic was brilliant. I mean why didn't he have them like that from get the get go? :lol He can climb walls but it was too much to have the webs be part of his powers too? :cuckoo:

Ditto. Spiders can naturally shoot spider silk so why couldn't spiderman. Not a big deal though. Just something I've thought about before.

I always preferred organic but I know Spiderman fanatics will hunt me down and kill me for saying that so I really like the direction they went with on this movie by going away from organic. :lol

____ em. They just don't like organic because they prefer the more "faithful", nerdy approach where a brainy kids makes his own. Why? Because they're ____ing nerds! They wish they were able to concoct silly string to go with their cheesy cosplay outfits so they can be like their idol, Spider-Man.

Yeah, Parker is a smart guy, but no 16 year old kid in high school is going to make ____ing silly string spider wbes that are the equivalence of cement.

Organic webbing was James Cameron's second greatest invention. Wah, it isn't faithful? Wahhh, it doesn't show off Parker's brain or intellect? It's better and makes more sense. I'd rather the creators make a more faithful COSTUME than some inconceivable wrist blasters. The only thing that's cool about home made web shooters is the fact that they can run out, putting Spidey in a dangerous situation. But I seem to recall the same thing happening in Spider-Man 2, so it's a moot point.

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

The organic vs non-organic is the biggest dead horse in this ____ing thread. It's been discussed and argued with at least five times ad nauseum. At this point it's easier just to move along when someone _____es about it since they obviously aren't mining through this monster of a thread anyway.

Just the response I'd expect from a little non-organic supporter _____ . . .

Organics are always better.

maybe thats why its called a comic book.:dunno
Yea like organics makes much sense either. Where the ____ does the spiderlike webs coming out of his wrist come from ? That makes as much sense as webshooters.

His blood stream/arteries. The spinnerets come from the veins in his wrists.

I'm sure shooting it out tires him out after awhile. (LOL WUT)

Re: The Amazing Spider-Man

IMO, it's like making Superman have to wear special goggles for his heat vision..

They can still make him look intelligent and have natural web passed to him from the super spider thing.
