being new on this site and reading through these threads, i actually am now interested in seeing this movie :)

They skip straight from the courtyard to the stairs in the theatrical cut, and in the mission briefing he tells them they'll have to fight through the courtyard. Horrible editing decision to hack that.

It was to give it PG-13 rating. The extended version is rated R. It almost a different movie.

It would get an R even if just the action had been retained?

I believe so, don't recall any nudity or sex scenes.

" Snyder talked about how difficult it was for him to get a PG-13 rating. He revealed that he had to edit the movie seven times to finally get the rating. He also talked about an incredible action scene towards the end of the film and how he put it together, that the director’s cut will have 18 additional minutes (including the full Love is a Drug musical number)"

If you watch the interview, Zack says they made him make cuts just because of the 'tone' of the scene.

Babydoll is never shown dancing in either version, but I found a deleted scene that isn't on the Blue Ray.

Can someone spoil the video above? Is it really footage of Baby Doll dancing? Her skills were supposed to be so unspeakably jaw dropping that I don't think I'd ever want to see Browning really doing it. There's no way she could live up to what the movie implies.
