I received Wolverine (from Sideshow) last night. I haven't opened him yet so he's still sleeping in his box. I probably won't open him for a while since I'm moving but all the pics I've seen are awesome. I can't wait to display him.

I initially purchased him to be display with RAH's Magneto (since he's all alone) but I can't picture these two displayed together... This Wolverine is just too awesome to be displayed with this "toy" Magneto (just my opinion).

I've truly enjoyed this thread (so many valued opinions) and thank everyone for all their helpful hints and pictures.

Congrats on the purchase. HT Wolverine and Medi Magneto shouldn't be displayed together. I have both and I agree it wouldn't look right :monkey4

Wolvie is an exceptional figure, when i get stoked for a figure i usually post some pics (even though mine is exactly the same as everyone else's) but no pictures i take can really convey the attitude this figure exudes. The head sculpt + the torso/arms really do help give him a wonderfully menacing look, he has a "your beginning to really p**s me off " expression - totally brilliant !

Crap, all these glowing reviews are making me rethink not ordering him...

You NEED to rethink without a doubt, he's stood next to me on my desk & believe me he looks sensational from all angles, every last little detail is simply stunning - Enterbay's Bauer is a stunner, one of the best 1/6th figures released in recent years (IMO), Hot Toys have most definately matched it - they may well have surpassed it because while Enterbays effort "looks" exactly like Keifer Sutherland it just looks a bit lifeless when stood side by side with Wolvie even though he isn't a 100% ringer for Hugh Jackman & it's all down to the Wolverine "character/expression" that this figure portrays so brilliantly.

The Head sculpt reminds me off this scene the most
Especially when he says the "cut your god damn head off" bit

I think it's the more classic Wolverine look, yes he yells and what not, but the dagger eyes stare is what I think of, like X1 when he looks at Sabertooth, "hey bub, I'm not finished with you." It'd be nice to have two heads for both roaring and stern, but if we can only have one I'm glad it's this one. I'd like the same expression, or again 2 heads, if they do the Trilogy figure, I'd be a bit bummed if we got just a roaring head, but HT doesn't seem to do stuff like that anyway as standard, they had to add a head to Leonidas otherwise he'd just have been one stern head.

I got round to taking a few photo's earlier. I have recieved a few collectables in the last month or so and I have to say this is my favourite of them.

After three weeks i finally got him, the most awesome collectible for any xmen fan. Claws are awesome and so is the jacket.
I would take pics but My camra is loading since i just go it.

Ordered mine yesterday and broke my tradition of never paying for Hot Toys.
(I usually trade some of my art skills for em).

I figured he sell out fast so why waste time setting up a deal.

Cannot wait! :)

Should be getting mine any day now. ordered 2 one to part out and one to keep whole. Really excited.

Those flying shots are fantastic Tyler!!! Did you do any modifying at all to the waist or anything?

Thanks.

I didn't modify anything to get those poses. They are possible from the figure as it comes out of the box.

The only modifying was in Photoshop after the pics were taken. The Photoshop changes were to remove the stand holding him in the air and hide the joins on the arms.
