Without seeing the full picture I think you guys are being way to harsh on this piece. I am sure this will look great. But I agree with a number of u posters that the flag should be at least removable. I like the TS portrait and him holding the helmet in hand will look great with the other Avengers.

yes, i would still order it, (maybe) if anything just to accompany the others, guess we'll have to see the final results to hold our heavy opinions

The pictures are low res and typical SS stock pictures which means crap. They really need to employ a better photographer IMO to showcase their pieces. For the most part I rely on fellow collectors pictures from the likes of Ed.

I agree, the pictures or the crop screen shots of the video still look distorted and maybe it's not as bad as everyone might think, I will still remain hopeful and hopefully for those that don't like the flag I hope it's just a accessory...

I just saw the video and I liked it a tad more than when I first saw the picture (the video does show a little bit more) but still, i'm not doing back flips over here.

Now, listen though. I don't want to sound like a jerk here. ANY Sideshow piece is of AMAZING QUALITY. While I might not see the full appeal of this piece, I know a die-hard IM fan will. So I'm happy for the IM fans waiting for this piece to hit the market. Heck, I might still pre-order, but this reveal did not hit me the same way the Iron Spider-Man comiquette did. I remember seeing pictures of that for the first time and thinking WOW!!!!!

Yeah, that I-Spidey was insane in your face WOW, same way that Wolvey and modern IM were.

This just doesn't do it for me although I didn't like the new Hulk Dio and everyone thought I was nuts so i'm now starting to doubt my own self so i'll give this new IM additional time to still show itself off before I decide if i'm buying him or not during this difficult economy or just continue saving towards the purchase of the modern IM that I still need and must have!!!

I believe multi-stacking collectibles can go 2 ways, when you take a mediocre to half way decent item and place him amongst others that are of much higher quality, it can either enhance or destroy the half way decent one.

All in the eye of the beholder I guess.

it's the kind of crack which enhances my CHEESY meter and this one redlined it.

It's a wait and see for me.

This just doesn't do it for me although I didn't like the new Hulk Dio and everyone thought I was nuts so i'm now starting to doubt own self so i'll give this new IM additional time to still show itself off before I decide if i'm buying him or not during this difficult economy or just continue saving towards the purchase of the modern IM that I still need and must have!!!

I think that flag definitely needs to be removable though....like with a switch out right hand balled into a fist. Like others have said we need to see more pics, but the flag is just so frackin random to me.

There's an Iron Man overkill at the moment. Sideshow, Hot Toys, Koto, everyone is picking their share of the franchise.
I'm happy with the SIM and possibly the 1:1 bust. I don't need to have every IM statue there is and this one is lowest on my list atm.

My banweeweeount can rest in piece.
