BTTF II old man Biff and his grandson Griff would be pretty cool to get. Can totally see NECA agreeing - although only if the line does well.

I think Griff is more likely given the fascination of the hover boards. Old Biff is pretty essential too, as well as Trump Biff too, but not sure they'd do those. Maybe I should preorder just to show support haha.

If you want to guarantee a perfect art box/card/blister, yes - assuming you're OK paying the extra few dollars. You get a specially selected sample of the figure, it's wrapped in a bag I think, then put in it's own labelled box which in turn goes into the already pretty good standard BBTS packaging with all the bubblewrap. So they do a good job for sure.

I've been using BBTS for over 10 years and only started going collector grade recently for a few things that I knew I wasn't going to open - like the Kenner tribute Alien stuff where I think the packaging is really part of the appeal.

Good to know. I pre-ordered all three, but now I'll probably pre-order an additional 3 in collectors grade as well. I really hope this line does well enough to warrant figures from part 3. Biff was a definite surprise so fingers crossed.

I can definitely see Old Biff and grandson with his gang getting made, but like you said, only if the line does well. I get the feeling this will be another POTA situation tho.

A car would be nice. That's why I'm getting the cartoon figures, because of the car.

Old Biff and Griff maybe. But the entire gang no way.

Personally I think alot of this line is going to be limted to variations of Marty; with the occasional Doc or Biff.

I'm sort of doubting we'll get any BttF3 figures except maybe Marty. Can't see them doing Mad Dog Tannen.

Could be. Hopefully this is next:

And if the already revealed figures sell well we may get these:

And

And possibly this:

With maybe a Biff from BTTF 2 and 3 as well.

I bet we get doc in his radiation suit and then the "tales from space" Marty. That's it.

Personally I think Funko Pops are a pretty good indication of the depth that this line will go.

Other than what has been announced, I can see a Radiaton Suit Marty, 1955 Marty, and 1885 Marty. For Doc I can see them making Radiation Suit, 1955, and 2015. Maybe a one off Griff or Old Biff.

Sorry for anyone hoping for a Goldie Wilson, 2015 George, or future gang members.

I actually got to meet her at a convention last year. Really nice lady. Unlike most conventions where you only get about 30 seconds to say "Hi" as they sign your autograph; there weren't many people around and she could tell I was a real fan so she talked to me for like a half hour.

She had me explain to her the plotline of the video game. Even though she voiced her character she isn't a gamer so she didn't actually know the story line. Was super psyched to hear it.

She also mentioned how there was no bad blood between her and Elizabeth Shue, as they had already known each other for years being at a lot of the same auditions together. Claudia Wells was actually the number 2 choice for "Adventures in Babysitting".

Cool, that's good to hear.

I googled why she didn't come back for II and it was because her mum had developed cancer - so yeah, doesn't seem like there'd be any reason for her to resent Elizabeth Shue.

In fact she mentions Shue in her cameo at the end of this

I watched BTTF 2 last night, and Griff (and his whole gang really) would make a great figure because of the costumes. As far as the accessories, the red bat, suitcase, and hoverboard would be cool.

I forgot how big Biff/Griff was in the film. I wonder if the Marty figure will be very small in comparison to the Biff figure?

You wouldn't know from the figure specs which have them both the same height. I'm sure that won't be the case though and Biff will be taller...the right amount of taller though? Who knows.

I love BTTF II even though the entire plot of that movie is a major plot hole - I'm not the first one to think of this by any means but if anyone wants to discuss

Great, now you just ruined that movie for me.

:pfft:

If I had thought deeply enough about it at the time.....or rather if I had been old enough to think about it, maybe it would have ruined the film for me. But childhood enjoyment has prevailed and I can still have fun watching it. And again, the first film is to blame. It sets up the exact story BTTF II ends up telling.

Interesting, I never thought about that. Isn't that the same problem as when Marty travels from 1955 to 1985, and he sees Doc getting shot and himself driving the car at the same time back to 1955? That's two Marty's in the same timeline. Then, he discovers that Doc was wearing a bulletproof vest and sees the letter from 1955.

I always just assumed that the timeline reflected what was going to occur. Yes, Marty and Jennifer traveled from 1985 to 2015; but there is no reason to assume that they would not return so the timeline remained intact. Wheras with Einstein there was never any intent to have him make up that lost minute. If for some weird reason Marty and Jennifer became stuck in 2015 I would imagine that their future selves would start to disappear.

What I always wondered is shouldn't 2015 Jennifer and Marty remember that this was the day that their teenage counterparts were there? Its kind of a memorable event.

I also wondered why George McFly was cool with the guy that once raped his wife in high school becoming a close family friend/personal slave that regularly hangs out at their house.
Or why he looked the other way about his wife giving birth to a baby that looked suspiciously like her old boyfriend.
