I know this guy is the only game in town, but I'm surprised this one disappeared so fast. It's a decent figure for the price, but with everyone hating on the character I thought there'd be minimal interest.

I think it's because the figure got decent reviews but it's also part of a "set."

I also think people probably wanted him so that they could have a complete Defenders team.

Personally, that's my only reason for considering him, because there are lot more characters from the other shows I would've rather seen made (Claire, Karen, Misty, Shades, Bushmaster, Trish....). I would've been more excited for Colleen, even going strictly with characters from the IF show.

I waited too long to decide if I wanted to get this or not myself.

Toys Works looks to be working on a version of Iron Fist too. They have a Jessica Jones and a Luke Cage(which looks good) up for preorder now, and have shown pictures of their Danny Rand on Facebook.

I wasn’t impressed with their Jessica. Outfit wise, and accessory wise, it was solid, but I don’t think the sculpt captured Krysten Ritter the way the Vimal sculpt does. She has very specific facial features.

I agree, what’s weird is the prototype head they showed for Jones looked way better. The pics used for the preorder look photoshopped anyway. Either way I ordered both the Toys Works, can always grab the vimal sculpt from OSK. Now if only that Eleven Danny Rand would go up for order.

I don't think I saw the original prototype pics for Toy Works Jessica, but I do agree the pics do have a photoshop look to them on the face. I'm interested to see how it looks in hand. But I have Vimal Jessica and I'm really happy with it.

I like the look of the SooSooToys Iron Warrior Danny overall, but I just didn't pull the trigger on it since he's not a favorite character. But I feel like I'm going to want an Iron Fist eventually. I would be interested in seeing the Eleven Danny get released.

I think Toy Works' best out of the Netflix characters so far is Luke.

I missed the Vimal Luke(for some reason the sculpt just didn’t grab me) so I was very happy when this Luke showed up for order. I too hope that Eleven Danny shows up.

Toys Works Luke and Jessica are up for order. I don’t think they ever cancelled a figure before. I’d say the odds are in favor of Toys Works making Danny too, not great odds mind you, but probably better chance than the Eleven. Now just to prove me wrong Eleven should release it for order. If there’s one hope for another Danny it’s the fact that the SooSoo Toys one was well received and is getting hard to find.

I pre-ordered the Luke right away when it went up because while I'd meant to pick up Vimal's Luke after I got Jessica, I didn't get to it in enough time. I was contemplating how much I wanted to pay for Vimal Luke when this one came up. And I think it looks great.

It will be at least 2 years before we even potentially see anything with these characters again, so while the Netflix shows are over, they're still pretty definitive. At least for me. While I didn't love Iron Fist and thought Defenders was a bit of a waste of potential, I did absolutely love Luke Cage, Daredevil, Punisher and Jessica Jones. The casting especially is going to be extremely hard to top for me. So I want a packed Netflix shelf with the rest of my MCU collection.

I don’t like the way the toyworks one looks. Doesn’t look like him in the least and can’t justify spending $100+ on it. I’d maybe get a headsculpt if they were $40 unpainted or something. I just want a cast/replica of the soosootoys one unpainted. I’d pay like $60/half the price of the fig for it.

Those sold. I was watching em for when I get paid next Friday. I only have $50 of spending money. Would you be willing to mold/cast your head you’re getting for me and send me the cast? I’d pay you like $65/70 for it goods and services for your time and trouble.

Well I’m glad I resisted picking this up off eBay a 2.0 just showed up for order.
