Are the promo pics photoshopped? There is A LOT more wrinkles than the promo pics are showing.

How so? There's the unavoidable bunching/wrinkling of the material when the figure is posed (which is seen in the promo pics), but in the preview videos I've watched I haven't seen any evidence so far to suggest that it results in permanent creasing.

But in answer to your question, yes I'm sure HT photoshop their pics to some extent.

Pretty much every manufacturer in the world photoshops their product photos.

But I'd also imagine that they go out of their way to pose their figures in the promotional shots to minimize unflattering poses that might show excessive wrinkles and folds like that.

By the time this guy comes out every online company may be required to charge sales tax regardless of where you live (at least in the US). The laws are changing so it’s just a matter of time. I think it starts in a lot of states in January so enjoy no sales tax while you can if your state doesn’t charge it currently. I got this guy off SSC and don’t intend to cancel. No NRD is nice but not really an issue for me.

Yeah next year is going to be painful. Although with their free shipping some of these places will probably still be a bit cheaper than Sideshow at least.

I'm not sure. They are located in Ohio & I live in Indiana, so I don't pay sales tax.

Same rewards system @ 5% back and they give a $15ish dollar coupon on your birthday. I've gotten $30 already from having a 2 year old account. Plus like crazygmpoker said they double box ship for free. I think figures less than $190ish might not include free shipping but cheaper than Sideshow especially SS doesn't double box.

Only con is you might wait later to receive a figure than Sideshow or BBTS, but seems to be a luck of the draw as my Patrol Trooper arrived pretty quickly.

Thank you for responding. I know many have mentioned that by the time this or other items come out the sales tax law will probably be enforced in every state. I"m ok with that, but if I can get free shipping that does help considering I"m in CA and would have to pay sales tax and expensive shipping to SSC. I try to eliminate atleast one factor if not both.

Side note I used to live in Indiana (Indianapolis) as a kid for a few years and I have some of the fondest memories from there. Loved the large land plots with the large houses and the people were very genuine and homey. You can't beat that midwestern hospitality.

I dont understand why they dont make this figure exactly how they made the PS4 Spider-Man Advanced Suit. Make a rubber head so you dont have that gross seam on the forehead. The suit looks like a better material on the advanced suit as well.

Because the suit is fabric-y as opposed to the game suit which is all the rubber/spandex type material. So it can blend well there but will look off on this release.

Why do you care? You're a Batman fan! :lol

No problem. Indy is pretty cool to visit, I live 2hrs north in Fort Wayne.

Alter Ego has this up now. Just picked him up for $200 thanks to rewards. Still debating Iron Spider just to get a spiderman figure in before upcoming rotation.

Nice! I'll check them out. Iron spidey is awesome. Very poseable with the risk of damaging his suit but isn't every Hot Toy like that.

i want this figure. and i know i’ll really want it after i see the movie tuesday...

but i feel like i’m spoiled now after PO 2 spider-man figures that should arrive in less than 2 months where as i’m looking at over a year for this one

i wish there was a way that hot toys could get a head start on production of these to release closer to the movie premier

When they did that, they ended up with figures like this:
