DayZ

The DayZ mod has been pretty popular recently (just hit over a million users). For those of you that have no idea what it is, it's a zombie apocalypse survival 'simulator'. It's basically a free mod (still in alpha stage) to the Battlefield-esque PC game Arma II.

Today, they just announced it will be released as a stand-alone game:

I played it for the first time last night, and after a considerable learning-curve, had a good time. Worth checking out.

This game looks perfect. It actually reminds me a lot of the old game Trespasser.

I've been meaning to try this.

So... am I the only one that plays this?

The new update fixed a lot of problems, and added weather effects. My character has hypothermia, and if I end up dying after rebuilding my character after the update... ****.

I use to play all the time. I kinda just fell out of it.
