Alienware Laptop

I sincerely wish you the best of luck with your Alienware lappy. I got one two years ago and have had nothing but issues since. Had to send it back 3 times, so at this point it's pretty much a new rig...but still buggier than a Watergate office wall.

I really hope mine was a fluke and you have no issues with yours!

I expected to get my Xbox 360 elite by now but all of the stores were sold out. I did pick up Halo3 legendary edition with the helmet 50.00 bucks off of the regular price and the Simpsons game as well. Hopefully I will get the xbox soon and can get my game on. I picked up two movies really cheap. Live Free die Hard and a Night at the Museum for 8.99 each. I also mentioned earlier that I got the Star Wars Vault from my wonderful husband. He loves his girl nerd.

I was thinking about getting one, but I want 10,000 rpm and 16 meg buffers

I hope you are right, at this point I am still enjoying the new laptop smell.
It is a shame that you experienced so many problems with your Alienware but hopefully it was the exception.
If not, I will come to you for advice.

its a WD mybook with 7200rpm and 16mb buffer....i cant afford anything faster. i did want to get one with a triple interface, but my parents gave me a giftcard for circuit city so i had to find something there. in the future i plan on getting a fantom drive with 1.5TB 7200rpm and 32mb buffer on it. 10,000 is super fast, but i dont need it that much.
