Seeing as most of us are superhero fans, those 2 franchises are at the top of the best all time franchises and characters.

:lol :lol :lol

Batman probably yeah, but Iron Man? I suppose if you completely ignore Spider-Man, Superman, X-Men, Hellboy and others he might be considered top, but most didn't have a damn clue who the character was before his first and only good film and the less said about his supporting characters or lack thereof the better.

I loved Iron Man 1 and after the disappointment of Iron Man 2 i'm hoping Iron Man 3 will be great.

I do agree with you about the supporting characters/villains, although I do love Pepper Potts. :)

First off let me say that Inception is not a fav of mine. I need to watch it again but I was not taken over by it like so many others were.

Having said that I can't see dumping on someones opinion on what there fav film is.

Chill pill my friend.

I don't think DiFabio was coming off harsh. He's a stand up guy and I responded to his inquiry. I know he doesn't care for "Inception." If someone told me there favorite movie was "Avatar," I'd probably post something much harsher than DiFabio did about "Inception." :lol

Wasnt this about favorite CHARACTER?? Cobb in Inception was a good character, but not all time status! lol

None of the characters from "Inception" appear on my top 10 characters list. I used that as an example to refute Nova's claim you can't consider recent movies or characters from recent movies on your favorites list. My favorite character from "Inception" would probably be Arthur or Mal anyways.

If you didn't have a damn clue, that's your problem. I knew about Iron Man enough to know he was Marvel's version of Batman (super powerless rich playboy with loads of toys). And while I won't claim IM1 is the best Marvel Cinematic film as some do (not even the second best in my opinion), I wouldn't double take someone liking Tony Stark so much. RDJ makes those movies and his character is awesome. This is all opinion. Why is there so much arguing in this thread about what is ok and not ok to appear on these lists?

That's two votes for Ross Gellar. I didn't realize anybody actually liked that guy.
