How so? There is a world of countless storylines they can use from here. No need to be confined strictly to the comic. In fact, I prefer they break new ground in the show as much as possible.

As long as they come up with something as good as what's in the comic then I have no problem when things get changed up.

But...

They can't do that right, they tried to do that the most last season and it was a bust.

Hopefully the new showrunner gets things back on track. I have some faith after reading this interview with him. And the Season 4 trailer did get me hyped up.
