Me too...I still have a Kindle saved in my Amazon cart. My birthday is coming up, and my GF/Family was gonna chip in to get me a Kindle.....
Forget that noise I want an iPad!!!

And it's sad too because e-ink is so much nicer to read than LCD or OLED.

Anyone notice store.apple.com is still up? I wonder if that means these aren't going to be for sale yet. Apple traditionally has them ready for sale (or at least preorder) the day of the announcement...

Well, it's likely easier using the iPhone UI for the touchscreen. I wanna play with it hands on and see how it connects to an iMac but I'm pretty much sold.

Not sure I agree with that. I messed around with the Kindle my brother got for Xmas and the e-ink isn't that much better.

It needs to be around $500 or I'm not even going to consider buying. I mean, it's an iPod Touch with a big screen.
