Unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to make it to C5, but if anyone gets one of the "Grape Hutts" cereal box giveaways that they're going to be giving out for the Collecting Panels, please keep me in mind. I'd love to add it to my collection, and I'd pay a modest amount for your trouble.

Edit: I think I've found someone who can help. Thanks. :D

And various tidbits from Sansweet:

All six Star Wars films will be screened digitally during the convention. Two films per night.

While they may not call it this, Opening Ceremonies will most likely be Thursday afternoon with some surprises in store.

The "Main Event" with George Lucas and John Stewart will be a one time deal. There should be plenty of seats for attendees as it will be held in a very large section of the convention center. There will also be overflow seating in the digital theater if the main room fills to capacity.

As we heard earlier today, Saturday, July 11th is the final day to purchase your tickets and have them mailed to you. Steve did mention that the badges will feature some very cool new artwork and fans will pick up their free lanyard at the door on the way into the convention.

The US Postal Service will be on hand for a limited time to allow fans to get a special Celebration Station canceled stamp on postcards for CV.

I thought you were taking mine? :(

Yeah...but thats for the one night no? We're gonna be homeless for the rest of the nights. :(

Up to now where just gonna drive in from Tampa every day, the more and more it gets closer the more and more that idea sux. :( :lol

Is there a master list with an itinerary? When I attended C3 there were a lot of things I missed because I found out after the fact.

If anyone is interested, I have a rental property that my tennat will be out of in time for the show. It's a 2 bed 2.5 bath house, fully furnished about 10 minutes drive from the convention center and about 1 mile from Disney. PM me if you're interested.

Last day to buy passes and have them mailed to you! Get 'em freaks. I'm super excited to be going to CV.

I've bought them ages ago...but never got it in the mail!! What should I do?

BTW:

Ok....here we go!

The Design of the shirt! :D

I'm posting it just to get an idea if you guys would be interested in getting it. I need to know since most printers require minimums.

The printing price is estimated at $18-$19 ...but i'm looking to see if I can find a cheaper place.

Anywayz....take a gander....and shoot me a PM with size if interested!

The event coordinators are mailing them out mid-July. I figure they were waiting for the cutoff and will begin shipping our badges very very soon.

I'm super excited for this Star Wars Celebration V Trip. No doubt! :D

Didn't know that the program would be a separate charge. $16 which I will undoubtedly not pass up. But I just don't remember paying for one last time. I do still have my items from CIV, but maybe I didn't actually get the commemorative program. I'll have to check on that.

This is going to get expensive! :lol

The Celebration Souvenir Programs have always been $10-$15 extra. This is just the first year they've allowed you to pre-order them.

Just wanted to bump this info that I posted a while back for the people that are to lazy to scroll though the thread.

Since DCFett was talking about the amount of things that he saw at the Celebrations that he attended.....I took it upon myself to investigate the size of the convention center to get a general idea of how big this is gonna be.

I compared the Orange County Convention Center to the one in San Diego. I've been to them both and they both seem pretty big!

OCCC: TOTAL 1,103,538 SQUARE FEET

SDCCC: TOTAL 1,386,122 SQUARE FEET

I know...I know....this might not mean anything... but by seeing that they both have about the same sq footage (SDCCC is bigger tho)....it gives me more confidence that maybe there is gonna be alot of stuff to see and do!

I've been to every Megacon for the last 4 years and they usually do it in Hall C...and altho it's a spec compared to the SDCC....it can pack a shat load of people...(stinky people)

Here are a few pics of last years Megacon so u guys can have an idea of what to expect:

And for u out-of-towners out there:
The convention centers is basically on a heavy tourist filled street called International Drive.... there's all types of touristy things to do on that street, including Universal Studios.

Here's a website that shows u all the attractions:
https://www.internationaldriveorlando.com/

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="https://www.youtube.com/v/nSQqHucMbbI&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="https://www.youtube.com/v/nSQqHucMbbI&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

And for all u native folk that live or lived (like me) in Orlando....don't u f___king hate driving on that damn street?!

P.S.....Why don't we do the get together some where in City Walk?

The Bumpty Dance is your chance to do the Bump!
