I order the DVD, and it's still available. I picked up my blu-ray gift set at Best Buy and I got the 4th one out of the 6 they had! They also lowered the prices today as a doorbuster.

R2-D2’s Star Trek Cameo Revealed

As you probably know by now, the George Lucas-owned effects company ILM (Industrial Light & Magic) likes to insert R2-D2 into the background of some of the films they create visual effects for. Earlier this year we posted a photo of our favorite little droid’s cameo appearance in the climatic scene of Tranformers: Revenge of the Fallen. With JJ Abrams’ Star Trek hitting DVD/Blu-ray this week, Gizmodo has found the hidden cameo appearance of our favorite little droid from a galaxy far, far away.

I wish my copy came from Best Buy today, it would be worth it try chilling in my room for a while to watch this. Lord knows I can't do the Watchmen Ultimate (Marathon) Cut just yet I just am pumped for this movie, and want a sequel already!

I just watched that scene on the Blu-ray and R2 flies by in the debris clear as day!
It's funny too cause Chekhov seems to notice R2 and is watching him fly by on the viewscreen.
