Re: Bond 24 - Title TBD

Do many people consider being 47 as old around here? :lol

Its subjective, I know people in their 40s who look very young, and then again I know some people in their 30s that are train wrecks. :lol

jack will steal the show. :yess:

Re: Bond 24 - Title TBD

2 great films and 1 crappy one so far. Only thing I don't like about it is the way he's only starting out as a 00 in Casino and yet Skyfall portrays him as old and washed up (literally). But I can forgive it as long as the films are good. I just hope the next one finally puts the gun barrel at the start.

Re: Bond 24 - Title TBD

He still has atleast another two Bond film's in him I reckon.

Probably a few if not four more. I thought it was a hard pill to swallow going from Connery to Moore, especially with Moore tainting the franchise with his stupid comedy aspects. Craig to a new actor will be even harder.

Craig is signed for Bond 24 and 25 after that im sure a new actor will be cast in the role, and that'll suck as im a huge Craig fan.

Re: Bond 24 - Title TBD

If the next two continue to gross over $1b, I'm sure they'll try and keep Craig for as long as he's willing to go. But I too think that he'll be replaced after Bond 25.

Re: Bond 24 - Title TBD

I disagree. Quantum wasn't "great" but it was still better than any of the Roger Moore films.

:exactly:

I think as a trilogy, they're great, despite the strengths or weaknesses of each, overall, some of my favorites to watch.

Re: Bond 24 - Title TBD

Quantum is a good, solid film. I love the car chase at the beginning. Mathis was a great character and I was glad to see him return (although I didn't like the way they killed him off). Gemma Arterton.... yum. Making Dominic walk through the desert with motor oil was a new level of cold-blooded Bond. The narration where Bond tells Camille to slow down and make the shot count was a nice touch. I like Jeffrey Wright as Felix and wish he had been in Skyfall.

The movie had flaws but it's very watchable. It wasn't crap. It also happens to be bracketed by two of the best films the franchise has ever produced.

Multiquoting these for emphasis. QoS isn't my favorite Bond film, but it's far from being one of the worst as some people claim.

Re: Bond 24 - Title TBD

It is a very different feel to a Bond movie. On its own, it's not very good. Following CR and acting as a sort of epilogue? It's fantastic.

Re: Bond 24 - Title TBD

loved Casino Royale
loved Skyfall
QoS was a big pile of ****. The only way I can stand it is because it fits in the trilogy, but it's no better than some Moore's. Its just more modern...
