I'm new to displaying statues and I've driven myself crazy the past hour prowling the internet. I'm looking for a good case to display my Carnage https://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectibles/product-archive/?sku=200032 and the cases on Sideshow are too small. Whenever I scroll through forums and find cool things from Ikea such as this black cabinet four posts down: https://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=123538&highlight=display+case it turns out Ikea doesn't sell it anymore.

I thought it would be a simple thing to find a nice case for something but it's not. Anyone have any suggestions on how to display my Carnage? If you suggest building one myself can you give me instructions lol. I'm not very savvy with that kind of thing.

Do you live close to an IKEA? What i would do is take an accurate measurement of your Carnage (awesome statue, btw) and take those into IKEA and look around. Obviously, this is only feasible if you live near one. Otherwise, I would just browse all Besta and Pax items on the website and pay special attention to dimensions of both the case and your statue.

EDIT: Also, if you do not live near an IKEA and are thinking of shipping from the website, please be aware that the shipping is outrageously expensive and sometimes can even be more than the unit you are purchasing. Sometimes it is better to take the road trip, if one isn't horrendously far from you. I live in Tulsa, OK and took a trip to Dallas to load up on Detolfs.

I don't live near an Ikea. I didn't know that about their shipping. That puts me in a deeper rut. I'm baffled that no one sells a somewhat larger glass display case...it's crazy. Maybe I'll go into the business and make a fortune.

I live in northern Oklahoma and made the trip to Dallas as well to bring back a ton if bestas and detolfs. My wife and I went during Dallas Comic Con so it was like a mini-vacation as well. Kinda took the sting out of the 5-hour drive to get furniture.

Is this the cabinet that you are looking at?

Its called the Besta. Ikea still sells it and they make a lot of them in all different sizes. If you want to get doors for it those are sold separately. As are the interior lights.

Here are some links for you:

This is the besta. The shelves are fully adjustable and removable.

These are the doors they offer:

I just picked up the glassvik doors and they are gorgeous in person.

And here are some lights that will look great in the besta:

Also I have notice the shipping prices have dropped a lot in the last few months. I don't know if it is like this everywhere though.
