Hey guys, saw this posted on Plastic Enemies FB. Figure went up for preorder today. I know nothing of the movie (gonna watch it tonight) or the company but threw down my 223 bone$ based on how good this looks. I really dig the aesthetics of this thing. Head sculpt looks detailed and awesome. Custom torso sculpt. Clothing looks really well tailored. Preorder includes a burlap looking combo- hoody/bodybag piece. Don't know the edition size or how long it will be available for order.

If the movie is cool, I might try to get it. Also might depend on how close their mass produced Dennis Rodman figure is to their prototype Dennis Rodman. A couple of their more limited figures I own (when they were Storm Toys, not Storm Collectibles) are really nice, but I'm not sure how they will handle producing larger quantities. So I guess I'm a bit more cautious.

Detail looks impressive though.

I very much enjoyed the movie. It is perhaps more of a ghost story with vampire and zombie elements. Very atmospheric and creepy. Vibe is similar to some of the Korean horror films and very different from the standard Hollywood fare. 6.4 on IMDB Rigor Mortis (2013) - IMDb but I would rate it at 7.5. Figure will be an interesting contrast piece for the collection and perhaps somewhat rare over time.

This is cool. I watched the movie. It was ok but nothing special. Just a hopping Chinese vampire reinvented to be gruesome looking.

Since I'm a fan of the chinese hopping vampire genre from those classic HK films, I'm definitely getting this. This movie was a decent reimagination of an old genre. Cool to see some of the old actors from the original Mr. Vampire in it.

Figure looks damn cool. Its time you take famous license storm toys. I have no doubt with their headsculpt quality

Yeah the mood of the movie was very well done, but it wasn't really an all out horror movie. I personally loved it because they had tons of 80s Hong Kong kung fu/horror throwback moments. The movie was pretty much a homage to those old films minus the comedy. Being a kid that grew up with those movies, I got really giddy seeing the actors they brought back and the old school elements.
