Now that's one we've been waiting for, suit and body is a nice improvement

That said not sure if I want to go in $300 to sit it in the most static, uncreased pose possible with that all rubber, and I already have quite a selection of BP stuff. However I need an Okoye figure yesterday, Hot Toys

First the Mark III height and now this BP with an added/improved HS. Looks like this round of HT double-dips is about fixing yesterday’s errors at today’s prices.

Regardless, that HS does look nice.

This was a good call and I’m glad they’re doing this. Solid design choices. Feels like a great tribute to the character and actor.

Hopefully they knock the production out of the park since it’ll be an important figure for many.

His first suit was his best one so I'm happy to see them doing this one. Never liked the ones that came after his Civil War version.

Was also sad to see people charging insane prices for his older figures after his passing so this is great for those who want to own a figure of him without crazy aftermarket prices. Might grab this myself. Good looking new headsculpt, improved suit, articulation and body. Digging the competition mask + shield/sword that they included in this as well.

So excited, he's definitely coming home. I was betting on picking up a future release of him because I didn't get a version I was really thrilled with- Civil War no HS and then Black Panther suit being a little overly purple for my tastes. This is the best of both worlds and I am so thrilled they're doing this. Absolute win. Do feel bad for anyone who picked this up before this 2.0 and paid the crazy after market prices.

I'm glad I sold my Civil War version a little while back. Would've been harder to sell now, because this one looks like to be the ultimate Black Panther figure. Love how he looks with the spear and shields, but ultimately no interest in this one. I'm downsizing my Marvel collection, of which a lot were purchased because of hype and completionist reasons.

Oh and for anyone wondering, I didn't ask a ridiculous price like 800 for my BP figure. I think that's just profiteering over a person's death and not fair to fellow collectors. Sold it for like € 20 more than I payed for it. I'm not in this hobby to make huge profits.

I’m not sure an “enhanced muscular body” was necessary. The original CW release was already beefier than Boseman ever looked in this suit. Additionally, he never used the spear and shield while suited up so those seem like odd accessories. Same with the Wakanda warrior mask. The improved suit texture does look nice however, but does that and an improved (?) head sculpt merit spending $300+ for an upgrade? Difficult to say. Decisions, decisions….

I’m with you on this.

I love my CW Black Panther, I bought him years ago at retail and have been very happy with him. I was never really tempted by the solo movie figure bk I liked the CW design better.

But now I am really torn now because based on the pictures this new version is a significant upgrade as far as the execution of his costume and comes with an unmasked sculpt, which was something the CW version lacked.

I am still maintaining my one figure per character rule so if I get this, the original CW version has to go …right?

Wow didn’t see this coming. Loved Black Panther in Civil War. Oddly didn’t care for the solo film, I liked it but felt his introduction in Civil War was so badass! This is a must for me. Feel he’s Civil War suit was beefier than the solo suit so the new upgraded body does make a lot of sense!
