Turns out that all I needed to do was remove the head, bend the little piece back (the armor is attached to the head/neck), and put the entire head piece back on. Looks perfect now!
What, I told you to do that!
Would you add more blood ? Make the inside of snake more shinny / slimy ? Better details on the boots ?
