Yea it's ridiculous how long it is now and I wouldn't be surprised if it gets delayed even longer.

I have preordered a lot of things over the years and this by far wins for longest preorder!

At least the port dispute is a better reason than just plain not being ready, but it is a little stupid that they are annoucing things at a crazy rate, but things like Deathwing and Gypsy Danger get delayed. heck Pacific Rim will have been out almost two years by the time this statue gets to us, and they announced the line WAAAY before the movie even came out

There they go, not my pics :) :

Nice! The torso still looks too skinny and the left hand is a very strange pose for a robot, but it looks like it came out great.

Shame it didn't feature spotlights, that would have really made it stand out, but the reactor light feature looks well implemented. Looking forward to some better pictures as these start arriving. Nice base and box also.

The left hand is very clearly meant to be holding a little tiny fishing boat, but for whatever reason they cheaped out.

Not likely, the base is based on the bottom of the ocean suggesting this one is set under water. I do kind of wish they had gone with an ocean base so he'd fit better with the Knifehead.

It honestly looks like it's meant to be fending off Knifehead while holding the boat, maybe the design changed during planning and they never got round to altering the left arm?

Not really much of a statue person, but I am massively into mechs. NECA isn't enough for me with this film, I need something nice and high-end - maybe Bandai Soul of Chogokin. Too bad it's unlikely to happen.

I like what I see so far. Still not sure on the price in relation to the size of it but the paintjob looks decent.

That left hand is a bit awkward. I might attempt a mod on this to make the hand replaceable with a custom fist. Possibly even make a custom chain sword, now that would be cool.

Pose definetely weird but my big problem details not quite convincing and proportions are odd. Neca one just looks better for cheaper price tag

Thanks for the explanation! I never knew what was going on because sideshow hasn't explained the delays at any point officially. I preordered back in June of 2013 and it's been delayed many times.

Thanks for posting pictures! I'm not terribly excited based on these pictures but I have learned that I need to wait to judge until I see it in person. I agree spotlights would have been super awesome.
