You could have answered his question without making him feel dense. He might not be as in the know as you are or how you claim to be, but you don't have to act condescending. I get that a lot of people have gone hostile on you, but some people do take your word and appreciate your inputs so maybe you could loosen up a bit.

And I wonder why people went hostile him? Maybe because he invokes that response? Every time I see his name as the last poster of a thread, I know EXACTLY what the tone and mode of the post will be before I even open the thread... and I've yet to be wrong.

Nope but there comparison pictures from the bloggers. I'm pretty sure we'll get a more lined up comparison by someone who picks the figure up.

The original Mark 3 looks as bad and odd as I remember.

While it's not perfect, the proportions have definitely improved.

As for the shade of red, I know it's not as dark as it appeared on screen but isn't this the shade of red Tony wanted? A Hot Rod Red?

Wow! The quality of the figure has changed dramatically for the better. The rubber abs & pelvis are even noticable on the original one. Proportions & HS are just off! Still, the price hike I feel is going too fast for these figures. Wish it's cheaper than what it has now.

I wasn't being condescending. It's a legitimate question. If you can find sideshows site and can figure out how to log onto and sign up for and see pictures and place orders for the figure...seems like you should be able to find the description page, or read it on sideshow, or hot toys site, and answer a large portion of the questions that get asked.

Has nothing to do with being in the know, or what you know. What I know or don't know or claim or don't claim has nothing to do with anything.

I simply asked why he thought it was rubber..given hot toys provides, for the piece he specifically asked about, a description of what it is.

The diecast imo looks vastly superior to the original. Because I don't buy 2 of the same suit/character, I'd be kicking myself and then trying to sell my original to get this one.

Ah. Ok. Thanks for the clarification. I agree. It is by far the worst iron man armor they made(though still pretty good when compared to other companies stuff). The new mk3 is amazing though.

The original Mk3 probably came out around the time the first BR Joker did right? That's really showing its age too. HT has come a long way.
