It looks like there is some ab articulation with the standard abs, or am I wrong? Loving the fact it can achieve a ground punch pose, even if it means using the second abs, don't mind that at all.

I really hope they do Diecast Mark 4 next, thats the one Im waiting for.

Mark 4 or 6 I would say are the likely contenders for the next figure, I would say the Mark 6 going by the logic that it looks a vast difference at just a glance with the triangle reactor (obviously both the 4 and 6 are very different to the Mark 3 while being almost identical to each other) but part of this is me hoping for the Mark 6 for my own selfish reasons (although my bank account should be hoping for a Mark 4 for you to give me breathing room, which ever they make the other is a forgone conclusion to be not far behind)

i kinda wish they would do the mk5 though

Never know they may go in sequence from here...

:thud:
I think its cool, I like all the little plates :dunno and faceplate I think is great, oh and the silver paint scheme

The Mark 5 looks cool, I would have to seriously consider the Mark 5 as I am trying to wrap up collecting Iron Man to allow space in the budget from other figures.

Maybe a Diecast mark 2 will be a sdcc exclusive??

Not this year as the Toy Fair Exclusive (not SDCC, HT don't do SDCC exclusives to my knowledge) is Tank.

I would be all over Mark VI diecast in a heartbeat. Hope that's the next from the original armors.

I'm REALLY tempted to pick this one up. One Iron Man figure for me and this would have to be the one. The pics released so far have him looking amazing.

I'm loving it. And HT's extra effort to make the ground pound pose possible is welcome. I've seen the artmor in person at Arclight Hollywood and I think they nailed the proportions. Yes, the original suit was burgundy, but on film it was the color of this figure.

Now, can't wait to pose these two together. Monger and DC M3 will be an insane display.

I'm also happy I snagged Monger.

I have this on preorder, I'm now glad I did. I missed out on the original Mark 3, this looks like an amazing replacement. I can't wait to get my hands on it, mid August I'm guessing?

Color is the only real complaint that I have but lovin' this otherwise. I used to like the functioning pop out weapons, but I guess some of them never worked well. It would've been cool if they were able to improve all of that for a quality fit and finish but I guess the swap out parts do the trick.

Is that a newly developed Stark sculpt? I want to see better pics of it before I judge

My wife is telling me to sell Starboost and get this instead. I'm like...

She doesn't know I have it on order.

Did you guys try to watch the movie again under color correction? The color is about 95% correct. I just watched the movie myself (under THX calibrated mode in my theater room) and the red is pretty close to identical to the power on scene. The color only gets darker when the shot is against the sun which naturally makes the suit darker. Also it's less shinny and more matted when he's in the desert with a lot of sand blowing around. If you look at the power on scene under incandescent lighting, the color (and gloss) is pretty damn close!

I don't think I'll mind loosing my NRD if I cancel this. I figured it would be better then this but must be the pose & lighting so I'm going to wait for more pics.

I ate my words. Final pics look great, glad I did not cancel. Still don't like the color & Headaculpt but I can live with that. No more Victoria Secret Panties!

Lord, please tell me that mid section isn't rubber.....on second thought, I hope no part of this figure is rubber.....

Why would you think it's rubber? You did read the description and look at the photos right? It's the same as the chest plate. It's removable.

It's coming. That's part of the removable plate charm. They can tool just the outer skin with the rivets and it's much cheaper. I don't think it's coming right away though. I would expect it next summer maybe. Allow this one to hit the market first.

I thought it was curious that they added the extra hip flaps for a non-articulated torso, so I appreciate that they did something new to accommodate the ground pound pose. I still would've preferred an articulated torso, but I'll take the switch out bent one. Either way, at least now we have some more options for dynamic poses. :yess:

The red color turned out fine (as Singuy pointed out, it's close to the color in most of the film). My only gripe is about the reused Stark sculpt, but it was a bit of a pipe dream that we'd get a new IM1 sculpt.

The spine on the back is bent. But if there on no rubber parts on the fig, that is good news to me.

You could have answered his question without making him feel dense. He might not be as in the know as you are or how you claim to be, but you don't have to act condescending. I get that a lot of people have gone hostile on you, but some people do take your word and appreciate your inputs so maybe you could loosen up a bit.
