It's always a good idea if your things can maintain or increase in value, though. Just in case you ever get bored of them some day and need to part ways.

yep but unfortunately we have no control over that, so i don't let it bother me. I wouldn't get rid of a figure i have now even if i could sell it for triple what i paid for it

Of course that's just me.. nothing wrong with any other way

The Boss will sell for peanuts, i couldn't even sell it for the price of a PAK figure

Well, it's noteworthy to me since I do plan to get her eventfully so if $95 or $200 is the new benchmark so be it. :lol

However, it does highlights some of Kojima and Shinkawa's biggest blunders with the franchisee. They both could have done much better to make this the dream MGS3 figures that fans wanted but they didn't. For those rushing to their defense saying "No, it's HT's fault", kepp in mind that Kojima and Shinkawa both personally supervised and approved the WIP.

Actually, while I'm on it, I wonder why is there a need to have Shinkawa as the grand supervisor of all the new MGS figures, it's not like the toys are faithful to the games anyway.

Not all hope is lost though, MGR Raiden looks great. :yess:

Raiden could have put some life back into the line if you ask me but they have out priced themselves yet again

I know they had to make a new body etc but i can never understand why companies shoot themselves in the foot like that. Make it slightly cheaper so you sell more and therefore make more money

I got Boss for $150. I don't think she's all that bad but I also scored Twoface for $95 at one point and sold him a few years later for $300.

It seems like the sales estimates are based on facts so I'm bookmarking the site. $95 for the Boss sounds like a bad joke, but it is what it is. :dunno

I doubt she'll be reach the $200 mark in 5 years at this rate, I don't know. What do you think?

And why is Ada doing so bad anyway? I thought she was a pretty cool figure.
I don't understand Ada either, especially considering HT's sales. She's fine at $160 but $200 was pushing it. The only complaint I find is the body. But The Boss...that's a real good point Ryan, there's no real excuse for how bad she and Naked Snake are.

That Ezio price though, I wish he was that cheap :monkey2

Some pictures of my custom Snake. More on my facebook page. Hope you like it!
