Kong looks great, not 100% like a real gorilla, I see a mix of the '33 Kong and a real Gorilla.

100% agree.. I thought of the 1933 Kong as soon as I saw the pic... I LOVE the design!!!

I would be more impressed with monkey suit that didn't look like a man in a monkey suit than just run of the mill CGI. That's easy to do.

He's saying that legendaries Godzilla wasn't the king of the monsters, most likely hinting that he did not approve of that film.

G14 Kaiju scenes were not crappy whatsoever, the movie just needed more of them and for Cranston to have been the main protag instead of being killed off so early in the plot.

If anything some of those Kaiju scenes are tops in the history of Kaiju movies.

What's done is done. The end result was crap and that's all that matters.
Here's hope new Kong is a good film, even if it has no kaiju value.

G14 Kaiju scenes were not crappy whatsoever, the movie just needed more of them and for Cranston to have been the main protag instead of being killed off so early in the plot.

If anything some of those Kaiju scenes are tops in the history of Kaiju movies.

Kaiju scenes that cut to another random scene at the best parts or have a door close on them? Or the ones you have to watch on a small TV screen? Those top scenes?
