do you guys think they'll make an articulated ab section like the mark iv, v and vi?

Don't think it will be a segmented, expandable waist like those marks. They may improve the internal joints on the abs, though. The original mk. 2 and 3 had more ab/waist movement than many folks discovered. The joint movement was minimal and it was tight, but it was still there.
