you guys would all seriously prefer a sculpted head over a decent Cillian sculpt with a cloth mask ready to go over ?.
I thought the cloth mask would of been the option most wanted.

It'd be difficult to get a cloth mask to look right in 1/6 scale. And with the accessories setup Buttmunch mentioned, HT could give us a sculpted mask head, a Cillian Murphy/Crane head, and an extra cloth mask for him to hold or if one prefers, to wear.

And at $150+ that's not a lot to ask for.

i was thinking what if they made a sculpted mask that can be easily removed?
similar to the Bank Robber mask
though it would have to be a loose enough rubber type of thing so it can easily be slipped on and tightened with the noose
and then be easily removable

The glasses make him look demented

OK, I'll level with you, I only want him without glasses so I can make a custom of my own

he is demented in the scarecrow role !. The glasses work ! :lol
But yeah for your custom they would have to be removable ! :lol

You might have a hard time finding a 1/6 version of that hat though. :lol

Yeah a cloth (actually I think the screenused mask was actually burlap) mask would look kinda off in 1.6 scale form imo plus burlap is a pretty thick material. But I do like the idea of an extra mask that the figure could wear for those who are would rather have a burlap mask instead of a sculpted one.

I am pretty much down with whatever HT would release as far as Batman is concerned. I'm the minority I realize, but that's my 2 cents.
However Scarecrow on his horse from the end of Begins would be crazy cool!

Sculpted mask (like the Chainsaw guy from Resident Evil)
Crane head w/ removable glasses
Suit
Straight Jacket
fear toxin wrist thing
briefcase
loose cloth scarecrow mask
drug filled rabbit (or whatever it was)
bottle and lighter

Not gonna happen, but I'd get one, especially with all that. The "suit" Scarecrow is silly to me. I like the "straitjacket" version better just for visual reasons.

Perhaps a mask that is burlap or whatever but sealed in a way that maintains shape -- or use sculpted soft vinyl or rubber even -- slit up the back so you can put it on or take it off.

I believe Shawn has been planning a custom for some time now.

some more Scarecrow

First thing i plan on doing if Hot Toys goes for producing the figure

i'm going to switch out the suit for Clark Kent's tan suit from Hot Toys' Superman Returns figure

it'll look much more Scarecrow-like that way

I'd rather see Gordon first.

yep me too. Seems a much bigger part of Nolans Bat world.
In fact seeing as though hot toys are currently working on " the dark knight " license Scarecrow is almost a background character.
What did he have , like 5 minutes on screen ?. Not even that .
Jim Gordon is much more important to the story line and would make an awesome figure anyway.

I would buy both figures though anyway.

I agree. Gordon before Scarecrow. USCM HICKS is right, Gordon is a more of an essential character to the event that took place in 'The Dark Knight'. However, I have always loved the look of Scarecrow... Someone should custom make Scarecrow for sale...

i disagree
Gordan is important to the Mythos

But have you ever noticed: what are the first questions that arise when Batman films are announced?

who is playing Batman?

and which villains are featured?

never, who's playing Gordon?"

The series has continued through the years because of Batman and his Rogues Gallery

and it's the figures based on THEM that sells the most

Hot Toys MUST release Scarecrow before anything else

Do you realize why the casting of Gordon never gets much attention? Because the actor who played the role in the previous live action Batman movies since the '89 Batman was Pat Hingle, who wasn't very good. It also hurt because the Gordon in those movies was fairly lame.

Gary Oldman is the James Gordon people will remember. His portrayal of the character is Gordon incarnate. He deserves a 1/6 representation.
