Personally, I still think V1 is better than BD, especially the proportion of the figure. Look at the size of his head.

that first shot looks weired, it's almost like it's a wide angle shot, mayeb our resident photographers can shine in?
and the pose is kinda awful

the head should definately be sitting lower on this, but i thinks its because of the new neck joint,

and yes the head size is right, the rest however is off

Well, if it is indeed just a repainted MKII head then it shouldn't be any bigger than the regular helmet.

The figure looks just terrible in those photos above.

ok we all know by now that even the sickest looking figure can look stupid in photos. it depends on angle, lighting, or just something weird that'll make us say "wth is that?!"

Absolutely. OMG's photos are the best I've seen of this figure yet.

Some nice photos there OMG. But, still, this and DX02, the few sure things... They both might slowly be turning into a pass for me.
All these changes (and problems = DX02) just make me think it's not worth it and I'm not even that bothered with the headsculpt.
This looks nice, but it's not exactly what I signed up for either. The modded one (by RRAAYY was it?) looks much better...

Might have to wait for the Mk.IV DX that was mentioned a while back or just forget about IM (but not War Machine surely?) all together. Maybe Mk.I is enough...

Take a look, the BD helm is alot narrower than the other 2, and both BD light up(middle), v1 Light up(right) are identical. Also my BD face plate can't close completely because ..... Tony got a long nose

And this....what a piece of....dont pay more than 3 dollars for it

Nice comparison pics and thanks for the tip on the crushed helmet. I'll take it for $5 because the one on ebay is going for $99. I'll be trying to pick one up if I can, once some more start appearing.

I'm all for Hot Toys changing things for the better but for god sake! don't change things to make it suck, god!!!

I know that most people will disagree with me, but I'm kinda glad that I have the V1 instead of this version.

I'm starting to feel the same way to be honest. It somewhat feels like a downgrade.

I just don't know what to do, if I should cancel this... part of me says no wait for better pics then the other says cancel and perhaps save for the IM2 line. Ugh decisions decisions. What's happened to Hot Toys as of late. Have they lost their pride?
